Lunch Break
Me and Her = Disaster
Grey’s POV
I was drinking my soda as if nothing happened, that I never planned to audition for SM Entertainment. But of course that
wasn’t the case. “HEYYYYYYY!!!” So noisy these days….. I was aware that someone was charging at me, as the person
came closer, I took her arm right on target and flipped the girl over before I was hurt. “YAH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR??!” I
took a closer look at my adversary. It was the girl I met from before…. Really now…. Is it really necessary to charge at
people that you know? “Why hello there, who thought we could meet again so soon.” “Ah, AH, AH, can you let go of my
arm?” oops… my bad. I released her arm from my grasp as she fell on the floor. “Aish, you didn’t have to flip me over now
did you?!” the girl said. I wouldn’t have flipped you over if you didn’t charge at me first now would I?? “Well, I don’t suppose
its normal for a stranger to charge at you from behind, would you think?” “Who are you calling a stranger?! My name is Lee
Eun Mi remember that.” Eun mi pouted at me as I tried my best to figure her out. She doesn’t look dangerous or anything,
but its best for me to keep my guard up… “Well since I introduced myself, why don’t you tell me your name?” she asked. I
hesitated for a few seconds but I couldn’t find anything that made her seem untrustworthy. “My name is Grey Park; I hope we
become companions later on.” I motioned a handshake and we both shook hands.
Eunmi’s POV
So her name was Grey huh…. Is she from a foreign country? Her name wasn’t Korean but her Korean was as fluent as
any other Korean person I met…. There is one other thing that makes me uncomfortable…. she’s too formal..:/. The
atmosphere between us was still a little tense even after our introductions…. I sat next to her unsure of what to say. “I’m
getting lunch, want to come?” I almost forgot that it was lunch break! “Yea, coming!” I stood up from the bench and followed
Grey to the cafeteria, dining hall whatever you call it. We both walked to the counter and I looked at the menu provided. Nice
there’s pizza guess that’s my lunch~. I go into my bag and huh? My wallet…….. I searched every part of my bag…
WHERE’S MY WALLET??!! My sad life……… wait….. I look at Grey with the most innocent eyes I could make “Ummmm
…Grey? Do you mind lending me some money to buy pizza :D?” Grey turned toward me with an annoyed look….. Alright it
looked more like a glare……. “Grey?” I asked a little more quietly again.
Grey’s POV
Calm down….. Calm down….. It is a fact that this girl causes nothing but trouble…… Bear with it…..I put on a decent fake
smile. “Well….. If I treat you to pizza, you will stop pouncing on me correct?” Eun mi gulped and finally said yes. I paid for our
lunches and we went to find a table. I set our lunches down and both of us sat. Finally I’ll get a rest…. I took my sandwich
and took a bite. The food isn’t bad I thought to myself. Apparently it tasted pretty good. “Hey, so I heard your singing. You
sing great!” Eunmi chimed. I looked at Eunmi skeptically, “Did you watch my audition replay from the replay machines?” I
asked. “Yeah~ you’re awesome ya know.” She gave me a grin. I couldn’t help but smile with her. I gasped at my watch. I
didn’t get a chance to reply when I realized my dance quarter audition was due in a few minutes! “Nice meeting you, but I
got to get to my dance quarter, I’ll be going first.” I took my bag running out the door. As I left I heard a “good luck” from what
seemed to be Eunmi with full of food.
*Yawn* “Since when did the manager ever tell us to meet at the SM building?”
“You forgot already?? That just isn’t like you!” he lightly slapped me on the back.
“I remember telling you guys to act more mature in public didn’t I?”
“Haaaaiii~” We both said. As we walked further into the building I see a girl that caught my eye. Isn’t she familiar? I’ve seen
her somewhere before…… but where?
