The two of you were nearing your house. A couple feet away from the gate, you abruptly stopped.

Zico felt a tug on his hand and glanced back. He cocked his head in curiosity, “What’s wrong? Don’t you have to go in as soon as possible?”

“I do. I’m just…scared.” You inhaled deeply and sank onto the ground.

“Whoa. You all right?” Zico grabbed your arm.

You fearfully looked up at him, “What if Yongguk oppa found out about us?”

Zico shook his head, “Nonsense. You were careful. I was careful. No one knows but you and me. And your friend.” *Jiyeon wouldn’t tell my oppas. They wouldn’t have had a way to communicate either.* You naively thought.

“Come on. Get up.” Zico pulled you up. He put his hands on your shoulders and looked into your eyes, “Don’t worry. Nothing bad will happen. Even if it does, I’ll be here for you.” You nodded.

Out of nowhere an infuriated voice roared, “GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF OF HER!”

You gasped at the voice, “Oppa-“

In one punch, Zico was down.

“OPPA!” You screamed in horror.

Zico sat up and spat blood on the ground. Yongguk glared at him. He was going to muder Zico and you knew it. “Oppa, what are you doing?! You’re going to get us all in trouble!” You hissed. You tried to get to Zico but Yongguk held you back. He dangerously glowered at Zico while he spoke in a grave voice, “Get her inside.”

“Hyung.” Jongup whimpered. “NOW!” Yongguk yelled, his eyes still on Zico.

Jongup and Zelo led you into the house. “But-“ You glanced back at Zico.

Zico got up, “Let her go-“

Yongguk slammed his fist into Zico’s face again.

Zico went sprawling onto the ground. He glared up at Yongguk, pissed, “I let you hit me twice now. Don’t go for a third.”

“Then stay the hell away from Yeojin.” Yongguk snarled and went into the house.

Zico heard the door slam and rubbed his aching jaw *Damn. That guy has a fist made out of steel.*

You tried to leave the house to see what was happening but Jongup and Zelo held you back. “Noona, you can’t go back out!” “Yeojin, please-“ “I have to see what’s going on-“

“NO, YOU DON’T!” Himchan yanked you back. He grabbed your shoulders and looked into your eyes. “Listen to me, Song Yeojin. Nothing good will come out of you going against Yongguk right now. He found out about you and Zico.” Your eyes widened. “At this rate, you’d be lucky if Yongguk didn’t kill him.” Himchan’s eyes were serious.

Yongguk suddenly stormed into the house. Everyone flinched at the door slamming shut.

You walked up to him, “Oppa-“

“Go to your room.” He didn’t even give you a chance to explain.

“But oppa-“

“GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!” Yongguk pointed at the staircase with a frightening, wild glare. Your face fell. “Come on, Yeojin.” Himchan grabbed your arm and headed to the stairs.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. All bodies froze. Loud thumping came from the other side.

Then you heard Zico’s frustrated voice, “I know you all are in there! Let me at least see if Yeojin is okay! Look, it’s not her fault, okay?! So don’t blamer her! Song Yeojin, are you all right?!”

Yongguk’s eyes narrowed. He rotated his neck and cracked his fists *That douchebag has a deathwish, doesn’t he?*

“Oppa.” You whimpered. “Take Yeojin to her toom and don’t let her leave.” Yongguk growled.

“Come on.” Jongup, Zelo, and Himchan all dragged you upstairs. Youngjae and Daehyun were waiting there. “You really did it this time.” Youngjae shook his head. Daehyun just sadly gazed at you.

You were hauled into your room. “Oppa, you don’t think Yongguk oppa will really kill him, do you? You don’t think he’d do anything crazy to Zico?!” You anxiously asked.

Himchan plunked you down on the matteress and looked gravely into your eyes, “Snap out of it! Worry about yourself! You better hope Yongguk doesn’t kill you first! What were you thinking being with Zico?! Especially behind our backs!”

You bit your lip. *He’s right. I was wrong. But that doesn’t mean Zico has to be in trouble!* You clutched onto his arm and pleaded, “Oppa, go stop Yongguk oppa please! Don’t let him hurt Zico! It was my fault, too!”

Daehyun looked away. It was too painful to watch. Himchan gave you a bewildered look, “Song Yeojin, you’ve gone crazy, haven’t you?” Jongup and Zelo exchanged worried glances.

Yongguk came into the room, “Everyone out. Now.” Jongup and Zelo scurried out of the room. Youngjae shook his head and left also. Daehyun waited by the doorway. Yongguk approached you. Himchan blocked him and attempted to defend you, “Look, Yongguk, she didn’t mean to lie. She’s still young and naïve. Just forgive her this once-“

“Get out of my way.” He said sternly. Himchan closed his mouth.

“Get out!” Yongguk yelled.

Himchan glanced back at your shaking self, looked at Yongguk’s furious face, and sighed. “Fine.” Then he added in a low voice with a warning glare, “You hurt her in any way and I’ll be coming after you.” Himchan left the room.

You stood up and stammered, “O-oppa-“

“Give me your phone.” Yongguk held his phone out.

“But-“

“Now before I search for it myself.” He threatened. You quickly pulled your phone out of your pocket yet you were reluctant to give it to him. “Yongguk oppa-“

He snatched your phone away from you and wagged it with a warning look into your eyes, “Your phone will be disconnected for the next few months.” Your eyes widened in shock, “What?!” “And you won’t be allowed to go anywhere but school. Keep that in mind and act wisely.” Yongguk headed to the door.

“You’re grounding me?!” You blurted. Yongguk spun around and gave you a look, “You deserve much more, don’t you think?”

You bit your lip, “But this is too much…”

“You abused my trust and went behind my back with someone I specifically told you not hang too much. You still think this is too much?” Yongguk questioned.

*He’s absolutely right.* You sighed, “Can’t I go out on some weekends?” He crossed his arms and gave you an ‘are-you-kidding-me’ look.

“I see him at school anyways! What’s the point?!” You threw your arms up in the air in exasperation.

Yongguk gave you a sarcastic smile, “Don’t make me move you to another school.”

Your jaw fell open. He gave you a stern gaze and shut the door.

You opened it, “Oppa!” You met eyes with Daehyun and gave him a pleading look. *Help me! Do something! Stop Yongguk oppa!*

Yongguk came back and shut your door. Then he locked it from the outside with the set of house keys.

You heard the click and panicked. “Oppa! Don’t do this to me! Let me out!” You twisted the doorknob and desperately banged on the door, “Oppas, help me!” *He can’t be serious! He’s seriously imprisoning me in my own room?! Who am I?! Rapunzel?!* You continued to protest.

Zelo flinched and Jongup sadly frowned. Himchan sighed and shook his head. Yongguk spun around and pointed threateningly at them as he gave them all warning looks, “No matter what she says, don’t open this door. Unless I specifically give you directions to, you are not to even go near this door. Whoever opens this door will serve the same punishment. Understood?!”

The rest of the boys glumly nodded. “Now come down.” Yongguk ordered. They followed him as told.

Daehyun stopped and glanced at your door. *If it was any other time, I would’ve help you but this time I won’t. Call me selfish and childish, but you deserve it for going behind my back with the jerk we all hate so much. Why did you have to backstab me like that, Yeojin? You broke my heart today.*

Disappointed in you, he left.
