“Oppas, Zelo, let’s go!” You called the next morning. There was a thundering of steps and the boys were down.

Zelo grabbed his skateboard, threw it on the ground, and hopped on it. In a matter of minutes he was gone.

You headed out with Jongup, Youngjae, and Daehyun.

Yongguk grabbed your backpack, “Just a minute.”

“Ahh!” You yelped as he yanked you back.

Yongguk grabbed your shoulders and looked into your eyes. His hair was like a haystack and his eyes had bags under his eyes almost as bad as yours. “Repeat after me.”

You groaned, “Oppa, not now-“

“DO IT!” He commanded.

“Just hurry up and do what he wants Yeojin or we’re going to be late for school! If I don’t get my attendance award for the year, I’ll blame you!” Youngjae shouted.

You sighed, “Fine, fine.”

“I will never,” Yongguk started. “I will never,” You repeated in a monotone voice.

“Go against Yongguk oppa’s words,”

“Go against Youngguk oppa’s words,”

“And go anywhere near that fucking blonde freak.”

“And go anywhere near that… blond freak.” You mumbled.

“The day that I am caught with him,” Yongguk continued.

You sighed, “Oppa, I got it-“

“THE DAY THAT I AM CAUGHT WITH HIM.” He gave you a look.

You muttered, “The day that I am caught with him,”

“Is the day that I give up all of my independence and become Mrs. Bang Yongguk.” He finished.

You gave him a crazy look. “Do it.” Yongguk dared.

You rolled your eyes, “Is the day that I give up all of my independence and  become Mrs. Bang Yongguk.”

He released you, “All right. Keep your word. Go to school.”

You ran out and sighed in relief, “Finally.”

“You heard Yongguk hyung. Don’t go anywhere near the blonde freak.” Youngjae warned.

“Yeah, yeah.” You waved your hand dismissively *I highly doubt we’ll meet again.*

After lunch, you and Jiyeon went outside in the sun and shared bits of M&M. She received a call and she stared at the caller ID without answering.

“Aren’t you picking it up? Who is it?” You asked.

“My dad. I’ll be back.” Jiyeon went into the school building.

Ten minutes passed and she still wasn’t back. You popped another M&M in your mouth and looked around. *Where did Jiyeon go?*

“Looking for me?” A voice asked from your opposite side.

You spun your head around and screamed loudly. You tripped backwards and landed hard on your butt while the candy bits went flying onto the ground. “Owww.” You bit your lip in pain.

Zico stifled his laughter, “You all right? I surprised you, didn’t I?”

“I’m fine.” You muttered.

Zico held his hand out. You looked at him. He nodded at his hand, “Take it. It won’t bite you.”

You slipped your hand into his and he yanked you a little too hard. You crashed into his body and your face landed just inches away from his. Your eyes widened and they drifted down to his perfectly plump, pink lips. Zico raised an eyebrow in interest but his expression changed when his eyes fell on your lips. *Oh shit.*

Yongguk’s livid face suddenly appeared in your face.

“STAY AWAY FROM THAT BLONDE FREAK OR ELSE ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE!”

You pushed away from him and crashed into the bleachers again. “Ow!” You whimpered as your knee collided with the hard metal. *I have a feeling I’m going to have a lot of bruises by tonight.*

Zico gave you a puzzled look, “You all right?”

“I’m fine.” You struggled to stand up straight.

“You sure? Want some help?” Zico stood up.

Your eyes widened. *Oh no!* You hopped off the bleachers and started walking fast towards the school. *MUST. GET. IN.*

“Yo, wait up! Why are you walking so fast?!” Zico’s long legs helped him catch up to you.

You entered the school. He was only a few steps behind, “Hey! What’s up with you? Why are you running from me?”

“I’m not!” But you picked up speed.

Zico was bewildered *What the hell! Liar! She’s running away!*

You heard his footsteps quicken and started to panic. *Oh what the heck.* You made a run for it.

“Yah, YAH!” You heard Zico yelling after you. He was almost close to you. You could tell.

You squealed and darted into the girls’ restroom. Zico skidded to a stop, “Holy-“

One sophomore girl came out and gave him a strange look as if he was a pervert. Zico turned the other way and casually rubbed the back of his head. When she was gone, he turned back to the entrance. An amused smirk came upon his face and he leaned against the wall. “Yah, you really think you can get away from me like this?” You ducked your head *Shoot.* “You know I can wait here for as long as it takes. You’re gonna have to go to class sometime~” Zico purposely yawned loudly and stretched his long arms.

*Crap.* You slapped a hand over your face. *What do I do?!* You patted your pockets and brightened *My phone is my ticket to getting out of here!*

Youngjae, Jongup, Daehyun, and Zelo received your messages at the same time:

‘S.O.S. GIRL’S BATHROOM FIRST FLOOR.’

“What the hell?” Youngjae tilted his head. Daehyun was the first to move.

Meanwhile Zico was leisurely counting the minutes. Whistling, he tapped his watch. *Damn, this girl is persistent.* Before he could peek inside, someone yelled, “YOU SICK PERVERT!”

Zico looked up at the new blondie in front of him. His eyebrow raised in question *Who is this one now?*

Youngjae stormed up to him. “No wonder my hyung didn’t want her anywhere around you!” He spat.

Daehyun skidded in from nowhere. *And the masked Zorro comes to save the day.* Zico thought.

Daehyun shot Zico a murderous look, strode past him, and entered the restroom. *Calling me a sick pervert when the masked loser actually went inside the girls’ restroom?!* Zico thought.

Daehyun looked around and saw you sitting against the wall. You gasped in surprise, “Oppa!” Daehyun yanked you up and examined you *He didn’t hurt her, did he?!* “I’m fine.” You assured. “Just get him out of here. I don’t want to feel Yongguk oppa’s wrath all the way here.”

Jongup came and furrowed his eyebrows. He waved his hand as if he was shooing a fly. “Get out of here!”

Zico smirked *They’ve got to be kidding me.*

“Can’t you see you’re not wanted?” Youngjae growled. “Leave. Now.”

Zico stepped back, not because he was frightened but because he knew he wasn’t going to get anywhere with you today. Not with these oddballs around. Zico turned around and walked away *I’ll be back for you Song Yeojin.*

Zelo came sprinting down the hallway, “NOOOONA!!! I’LL SAVE YOU!”

“Too late. We solved it.” Youngjae said.

“Oh.” Zelo’s shoulders deflated at the loss of purpose.

Youngaje turned his head towards the restroom, “Song Yeojin, you can come out now!”

You poked your head out, “Is he gone?” “Yep!” Jongup cheerfully smiled.

You sighed in relief and stepped out with Daehyun.

“Why did he follow you?” Youngjae asked. “I don’t know! Ask him that, not me! Maybe he wants to get back at me for what I did to him at the club…” You scratched your head.

The bell rang. “Whatever. Go to class.” Youngjae walked away.

“WHAT IF HE STALKS ME TO CLASS?!” You asked.

“Kick his balls!” He shouted back but never turned back.

You pouted deeply. Jongup tugged on your hand, “Don’t worry. Oppa will walk you to class.” He led you away.

“Noona, wait for me!” Zelo followed you.

Daehyun watched the three of you walk away *I’ll have to keep a closer watch out for her.*
