"Yongguk's Girl"

You vanished through the crowd in search for the boys. You finally found them at one of the tables by the bar. “Oppa, are you all right?” You worriedly asked.

Yongguk didn’t answer. He was trying to let his steam off.

“God, that guy was a douchebag. Where’d he learn to mouth off like that anyways?” Himchan asked.

“I don’t know, but he pisses me off.” Yongguk growled. “And what’s more, he embarrassed me in front of you.” He looked up at you.

You patted his back comfortingly, “Don’t worry, oppa. To me, you are the best.” Yongguk gave you a small smile. “I’ll get you some water.” You went to the bar and asked for a glass of ice water.

While waiting, someone approached you, “Hey.”

You looked up and your face fell. It was Zico.

He smiled and nodded to the stage, “Did you see my victory up there?”

You blatantly stared at him. *I saw you spit vile words at my big oppa and embarrass him.*

Zico leaned an elbow against the bar and grinned, “So will you dance with the winner? I saved you earlier. So it’s only right that you pay me back with a dance, right?”

Before you could answer, a voice growled, “What the hell are you trying to do?” Zico straightened up and looked back. You looked up and your eyes widened. Yongguk was giving Zico a deadly glare. If it was any normal person, he would’ve turned into dust at the laser glare.

But Zico smirked boldly, “I’m asking this pretty girl to dance.”

Behind Yongguk, Daehyun furrowed his eyebrows in deep disapproval. *Dance with you? No fucking way. If I won’t even let her dance with Himchan hyung, what makes you think I’ll let her be in any way with a guy like you?*

“You have a problem with that?” Zico challenged.

Yongguk stepped closely to him and glared into his eyes, “As a matter of fact, I do. Because the ‘pretty girl’ you’re asking to dance, is my girl.”

Zico stared at him. The smile had left his face. “What?!”

Yongguk walked towards you, purposely bumping into Zico’s shoulder as he passed by. Yongguk smoothly whirled around and slung an arm around your neck. He smirked widely and pulled you close. “You may have gotten the champion title this time, but I already had the girl.”

You didn’t stand up to correct the truth. Yeah, you were Yongguk’s girl, but in a different way. You were more of a sister to him than an actual girlfriend. But something told you that you had to shut up at the moment.

Yongguk lightly nuzzled your cheek as he purposely stared at Zico. A victory smirk came on his face when he saw Zico’s expression stiffen. “I guess I won after all. Let’s go, baby.” Yongguk led you towards the door. B.A.P. followed.

“Bullshit.” Zico said. Yongguk froze. You cast a panicked glance at him. *This isn’t good.*

Yongguk turned around and glared at him, “What did you just say?”

Zico’s crew came up behind him. You could see their violent aura pulsating. They were willing to fight, and you knew it.

“Yongguk oppa.” You whispered. *Don’t provoke him!*

Zico smirked, “I can see right through you. You think I’m dumb? That girl isn’t yours as much as she is mine. You just want to be a sore loser and force success your way.”

Yongguk gritted his teeth. You felt his arm stiffen and saw his hands balling into dangerous fists. *Uh-oh.* You thought. “Yongguk, don’t. Calm down.” Himchan whispered.

But all of you knew Yongguk. He wasn’t good at ‘calming down’.

Block B laughed uproariously. They reminded you of a bunch of wild hyenas.

Merciless. Uncaring. Predators.

Zico hi-fived Jaehyo and smirked, “Pathetic, isn’t it? He can’t live without winning something tonight so he has to pick the girl I had my eye on and pretend he’s hers. What a loser.”

You could feel all of you tipping on the brink of a violent fight.

Right when Yongguk moved, you grabbed a glass of cocktail from the bar and threw the liquid at Zico’s face.

That did the trick. It threw everyone off balance.

Block B gaped at you, stunned. B.A.P. stared at you in shock. Never in their entire lives with you had they seen you so…rash. But the one most surprised was yourself. Your mouth dropped open a little. Zico blinked a couple of times and looked down at his ruined clothes. *Did she really throw that drink in my face? No one has ever dared…* Slowly, he looked up at you.

You gulped. You thought about apologizing but remembered how much he had humiliated Yongguk. So instead you boldly lifted your chin and glared at him. “You’re wrong. I am his girlfriend. And my boyfriend is not a loser.”

“Holy shit.” Youngjae whispered. Jongup rubbed his eyes to check if he was dreaming or not. Daehyun raised an eyebrow. *I never knew she knew how to lie through her teeth.* You set the glass on the counter, grabbed Yongguk’s hand, and dragged him out the exit. B.A.P. started grinning like crazy and followed your lead.

U-Kwon blinked at Zico, “Did that really just happen?”

P.O. took a whiff of Zico and made a face, “No offense hyung but you smell all sweet and shit. You should go take a shower now.”

Usually Zico would have whacked him for that bold comment. but he just kept staring at the door. *I saved her a while ago. And instead of dancing with me, she threw a drink at my face. And she stood up for that sore loser who I still refuse to believe is her boyfriend.*

Kyung came by his side and followed his gaze to the exit. A smirk formed on his face, “If I wasn’t mistaken, Woo Jiho, you liked that feistiness.”

A slow smirk spread on Zico’s face. *Bingo. I liked it A LOT. I have to find out who she is. A girl who can stand up to Zico deserves to be Zico’s girlfriend.*

Once outside, you let go of Yongguk’s hand. You spun around with a pale face, “What. Did. I. Just. Do?”

“You threw a drink in the face of a guy who was twice your size and had muscles in places you don’t.” Youngjae reminded.

You just realized the situation and screamed, “I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT!” You started shaking. “Ohmygod. I’m so horrible. I-I don’t know what I was thinking! I was just so stupid!” You smacked yourself.

Yongguk grabbed your hand. You looked up at him. He was grinning widely. “What are you talking about?! YOU WERE GREAT!” “I…was?” You asked, confused.

Yongguk laughed, “Hell yeah! You fucking showed him! God, that was great! I wish I had gotten that on camera! The way you just threw that drink at him! You should’ve seen his expression! It was a masterpiece!” He laughed wildly.

Himchan slung an arm around you, “I knew there was a feisty girl hidden in your bashful self somewhere. Good job. You were sexy out there!” He held out his fist.

You weakly bumped it with your own fist. “I was just mad he kept humiliating Yongguk oppa that way. Oppa never cussed at him but he said mean things first. And if I hadn’t done something first, Yongguk oppa would’ve beaten him up and we would’ve been in big trouble then.”

“Hell yeah! He deserved a lesson or two! God, the way he was being all cocky and shit! I would’ve beaten him until he was unconscious!” Yongguk spat on the ground. He started grinning at you again and yanked you into his arms, “Come here! You’re so precious! I love you, honeybunny!”

“Okay, okay, I got it!” You shoved him away and crossed your arms tightly across your chest. “Now as promised, can we go home? I’m cold and tired.”

Yongguk laughed, “Yeah, whatever you want, honeybunny.” He unlocked the van. and you entered in relief.

“And please don’t go over the speed limit.”

Yongguk put the key into the ignition and smirked through the mirror, “That, I can’t guarantee.”
