“You look amazing, you will have Seungri on his knees tonight” Chaerin commented while looking at Minzy

The girls were getting ready at Minzy’s house, Seungri and her surprise date would pick them up from there.

“So do you, I can’t believe Bom was able to get you such amazing dress in a short amount of time” Minzy says towards Chaerin 

Chaerin was wearing a red mermaid red dress with a plunging v neck, she had not liked it on the rack but once on she loved it. The dress hugged and complimented her curves that she fell in love with it instantly.

“I can’t believed it either” Chaerin voiced, she had opted for loose curls, a winged eyeliner and red lips “so are you going to tell me who this guy is?” She asks curious

“No but I will tell you that he’s friends with Seungri, that’s why we’re sharing a car” Minzy points out

“He’s friends with Ri? Now I’m more curious”

“He’s cute, you’ll like him”

Chaerin was about to say something when the doorbell rang and Minzy gave her a mischievous smile.

Minzy walked out of the room first, Minzy was wearing a black long dress with a slit and a sweetheart neck. Chaerin stayed behind, she needed to make sure she looked good before going to meet her mysterious date.

Chaerin walked out of the room and made her way towards the living room when she heard voices, she entered the room and noticed Seungri with his arm around Minzy and a tall figure facing away from her wearing a black tuxedo. 

“Chaerin” Seungri said noticing her and the man turned around to greet her. 

“Chaerin, this is Matthew- Matthew this is Chaerin” Minzy introduced them 

Chaerin smiled at the handsome tall man “hello”  she extended her hand for him to shake, instead of shaking it he took it to his lips to place a kiss.

“Hello Chaerin, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you” he says with a cheeky smile

“Are you both girls ready? We should head to the event” Seungri asks

“Yeah, we’re ready”

The girls walked out of the house followed by both men and they walked towards the limo.

“I’ve met you before haven’t I?” Chaerin asks Matthew now they were sitting next to each other in the car

“I think we shared a brief class in college” 

She smiles “I’m glad we’ve met”

“Me too” he gives her a smile

They made small talk and soon enough they were in the event, they gave their names in the door and just like how nana promised her name was on the list. 

“You look beautiful Chaerin” Matthew complimented her

“Thanks, you look handsome” she answers as they made their way inside.

Matthew held his hand out in front of her, she looked at his hand and soon understood what he wanted. She placed her hand in his and walked in hand in hand, she instantly felt different, good different.

She was really short standing next to him even in heels and she liked that, she soon spotted all her friends, her eyes instantly met those of her best friend.

He stood proudly next to his girlfriend, he wore a black tuxedo matching Nana’s black dress.

She smiled and greeted everyone as soon as she reached them, she introduced Matt but apparently everyone knew him already. 

“Care to dance?” Matthew asked her 

“Of course” she said and placed her hand on top of his and soon he led them to the dance floor, Chaerin wrapped her arms around his neck while his wrapped around her waist and they slowly swayed to the music.

“I didn’t see that coming”

“What?” YB asks confused 

“Chaerin and Matthew” Jiyong says while watching the couple dance

“Oh yeah, I would of never guessed it” YB admits “I think one of the girls set it up”

“Sometimes I miss her” Jiyong confesses 

“Well now she’s back, she’ll be part of our everyday life again” YB says 

Jiyong only gives him a puzzled look 

YB looks at him then he widens his eyes “wait? You mean as in-“

“Sometimes”

“Have you tried to gives you two a chance?” 

“I kissed her last night” he confesses “it felt different than when we kissed in high school, something changed and I know I will loose her as a friend if I try that again” he admits

“You two aren’t high schoolers trying to date for the sake of popularity, if you two date it would be different now” 

“I know, it’s best if it stays platonic.. I can’t risk loosing her in case it doesn’t work out” 

“And you’re happy with Nana” YB adds
