2 years later,

Chaerin never came back that summer that she promise, she came back two summers later. She was visited by her friends while in Paris and even Seungri visited once. 

Chaerin and Seungri broke up due to distance and her decision to want to stay in Paris longer.

When she finally returned to Seoul, she no longer was as close to Jiyong as she used to. He never visited her and she never called to say hello or vise versa. 

Minzy hugged the shorter girl “I’ve missed you!” She exclaimed

“I’ve missed you too!” Chaerin returned the hug “Where is everyone?” She asks looking around the room 

“Bom is on her way and Dara went to the restroom” Minzy says

Bom got engaged in those two years to SeungHyun while Dara is expecting a little one and she recently got engaged to YB.

Minzy started dating Seungri and they seemed to be a good match, Chaerin felt glad that her relationship with Seungri never actually got serious. 

Daesung was the only single one left of the group, she had heard that Jiyong started dating a girl named Nana after he broke up with Jooyeon. 

She herself was casually seeing someone, nothing serious and now that she decided to move back to Seoul things might end. 

“I have to be honest” Minzy says while sitting down 

“What is it?” 

“You know since Jiyong is dating Nana, she actually became sort of part of the group” Minzy admits “she’s looking forwards to meeting you, she has heard a lot about you from us and Jiyong” she adds 

“Jiyong? I haven’t heard from him since I left” she admits 

“He’s been busy but he does ask about you, he wanted to call you but thought too much time had passed for that” Minzy admits 

Chaerin shakes her head “that guy.. well I look forward to meeting Nana” she smiles

Chaerin then notices Dara walking towards her and she stood up to hug her pregnant friend “ah Dara!”

“Chae-ah!” 

“I can’t believe you’re showing already” Chaerin said now looking at her friend 

“I’m 4 months along Chae” Dara exclaims 

“Girls!” Bom squealed as she made her way to her friends and hugged Chaerin first.

Chaerin sat down with her girls and they chatted the after noon away

“Are you still seeing that French guy?” Bom asks 

Chaerin smiles “it’s casual, I’m staying in Seoul and he’s staying in Paris, it’s not meant to be” she admits shrugging 

“I’m looking forwards to hearing all about Paris, it’s been some months since we haven’t seen you” Bom days 

Chaerin smiles “I’ll tell you all about it as long as you and Dara tell me all about the wedding planning”

Dara squeals “I’m glad we’re all together again, you need to be a bridesmaid” 

“Yeah I need you as a bridesmaid too” Bom says nodding her head 

“And I need you as my only single girlfriend whom I can go drinking with when Seungri is annoying” Minzy adds 

Chaerin laughs “count me in”

Jiyong,

“So where are the girls today? I though you were going out today?” Jiyong asks his girlfriend after pecking her lips 

Nana let’s Jiyong sit down then she sits on his lap “we were but you’re friend from abroad came back last night and they went to meet her for lunch” she admits

“Chaerin is back? I haven’t seen her in a long time” he admits 

Nana nods “Minzy said she just got back last night” she says while placing her hand on his cheek

Jiyong kisses her “I should call her” he says 

“I can’t wait to meet her, everyone is always talking about her” 

Jiyong smiles “I grew up with her, YB and her are my best friends” he admits 

Nana smiles “more reasons to meet her” 

“You’ll love her”

Chaerin was busy searching through her iPad, she wanted to get things together before she starts working in her dad’s firm. She wanted to look over business in Korea while her parents stayed in Paris, she was already wearing her pajamas, shorts and a big t shirt. 

She heard a slight knock on her door 

“Yeah Mrs Huong?” She asks while still looking at her iPad 

“Can I come in?” 

She quickly looked up to see her longest friend standing in her door frame, she smiled and quickly stood and walked over to him 

Jiyong quickly wrapped his arms around her waist “I’ve missed you” 

“I’ve missed you too oppa” she admits while hugging him

“I’m sorry for not calling while you were away” he apologizes 

“It’s okay, I know I have to apologize for the same reason” she admits 

“Two years, I can’t believe you were away for two years” he says now looking at her

She smiles “you knew living in Paris was a dream of mine” 

“I know, I just thought we’d do it together” he admits 

She smiles “we can still do it together” 

He smiles

“Tell me everything, I heard you got a new girlfriend” she says excited and pulls him into her room

Jiyong sits on her bed “I do, I broke up with Jooyeon six months after you left then I met Nana” he admits “we’ve been dating for a year now” he adds 

She smiles “I heard that she’s super pretty” she teases him then sits on her bed next to him 

He chuckles “she wants to meet you” 

“She does?” She asks surprised
