Work is driving me crazy. ): And this story is crazily in need of an update. ):

I don't know why, but this story gives me a lot of problems, like I really don't know how to write out what I've planned and stuff like that..

Few weeks passed like that, with SHINee continuing their rehearsals every day. Their practices intensified with the release of their new single just round the corner. Fortunately, everything seemed to be going well.

Jonghyun, especially, was happy about the way things were going. For some reason, Manager-sshi seemed to be quite pleased with him - He would look on with a frown on his face whenever they trained - as though deep in thought - only to smile when Jonghyun caught his eye.  Was it just Jonghyun’s imagination or did his gaze linger on him a little too long – ?

Not that he was complaining of course, as long as he wasn’t messing up.

And Jonghyun didn’t care what it was that Manager-sshi was impressed with, when it came to his dancing. For once, someone actually thought that he was better than others (which felt pretty damn nice).

Manager-sshi dropped the bomb a week before they were due to film their MV.

“I – we – have decided… that Jonghyun…” At this, he faded off.

“Jonghyun what?” Kibum asked immediately, his tone a little demanding and impatient. The rest of them crowded around him at once, curious to know what the announcement may be.

“Well… I’m sure you all have noticed how much Jonghyun has improved in terms of dancing,” Their manager continued. Jonghyun raised an eyebrow at the compliment, not knowing what to feel. Because what do you even think say at a time like this – ?

None of the other members said anything, so Jonghyun assumed that they too agreed with their manager.

“After much consideration, it has been decided that… Jonghyun will lead in dancing, as well as singing.”
