Rosé paced back and forth as she willed herself to calm down; Jisoo had asked her out on a date here in Thailand, though it was supposed to be a double date with Jennie and Lisa but the latter was firm on telling them they should spend time with their lovers apart. Now, not to burst anyone’s bubble or anything, but…Jisoo and Rosé hasn’t quite established their relationship yet, sure they kiss and cuddle and go on dates often but not one of them had ever asked the magic question yet. This was the problem with the two of them; they both were scared as to make the first move, which is no surprise since the two have been feelings things for each other for 9 years yet only confessing a few months ago.

Rosé jumped when she heard knocks on her and Jisoo’s room.

“Chipmunk? Mom’s done lecturing Jisoo about taking it easy on the chickens, she says you can go on your date now” Lisa said

Rosé then breathed in deeply and let out a loud exhale then proceeded to open the door.

Lisa looked surprised.

“Someone’s gotta get kissed so hard tonight” Lisa said, smirking as she saw the Aussie blush and shyly hit her arm

“Don’t you wanna just date me tonight, Hubby?” Jennie asked, appearing right behind Lisa

Had she been there the whole time? Rosé thought.

“Yah! I’m taking you out on a date tonight” Lisa whined as she pouted, Jennie grinned as she cupped the Thai’s face and repeatedly kissed those pouty lips, soon enough Jisoo started making barfing noises to make the two part

“Stop stealing my girl’s spotlight” Jisoo said as she grabbed the Aussie’s hand and dragged her away from the two

“Appa, Mommy B, we’ll be going now” Jisoo said

“Stop calling me Mommy B, you little twerp” Bora spatted

Sometimes Rosé wonders if Jisoo was related to Bora and Jennie, they really did seem to click straight away, and they were crackheads as well, bonus for being hot and pretty.

Once they were outside, Jisoo stopped on her tracks.

“What’s wrong, Baby?” Rosé asked

 “I’m gonna be totally honest with you, Babe” Jisoo said, looking very nervous.

“What is it?” Rosé asked

“I don’t know Thailand that well so we’re gonna have to wing it all the way today, but if we get lost…um, Lisa’s one call away, I guess” Jisoo said, scratching her nape

Rosé couldn’t help but giggle at her girl’s cuteness.

“I guess this is gonna be an adventure for us” Rosé said

“It’s gonna be a great adventure!” Jisoo exclaimed

“Hope y’all don’t get killed!” Lisa yelled, making the two turn around and look at the other couple walking the opposite direction

“Do you wanna just follow them so we won’t get lost?” Jisoo asked

All that really mattered for her was Rosé’s safety anyways.

“You lead, Baby” Rosé said, making Jisoo blush.

It still felt so surreal for Jisoo to actually be taking Rosé on a date, she’s been in love with this girl for God knows how long and it’s pathetic that she held back from pouring every ounce of love she could offer for this girl just because she was a coward. Luckily Rosé felt the same way for her despite that really lame and impromptu confession.

Soon enough, the two found themselves walking wherever their feet lead them, it wasn’t actually that bad anyways, their feet somehow lead them to the night market and it was honestly the best thing that happened to them that night. They had gone through every stall, buying souvenirs, tasting every kind of food, taking pictures and failing badly at communicating with the vendors. They had even been kicked out from two stalls because Jisoo kept telling them she had no money since it was the only statement Lisa had taught her that actually retained on her mind.

“Baby, you gotta stop telling people you don’t have money!” Rosé exclaimed, but she was laughing all the while

Jisoo grinned as she intertwined her hand with Rosé’s, she swung them back and forth and hummed along to some old tune that she might’ve heard from Lisa’s playlist on that old vinyl record player; they were now in a more quiet part of the night market.

“Chaeng?” Jisoo called out

“Hmm?”

Jisoo then lead them to a nearby bench.

“How did you know it was love that you felt for me?” Jisoo asked

Rosé blushed as she leaned her head on Jisoo’s shoulder.

“On your 21st birthday, I guess?” Rosé said

Jisoo’s eyes widened.

“I was such a dork when was 21!” Jisoo whined

“You still are, what’s the difference really?” Rosé pointed out

Jisoo groaned, Rosé chuckled and faced Jisoo.

“You were silently reading this new book Lisa bought you for your birthday; I remember how excited you were when you opened Lisa’s gift for you. I caught sight of you reading in that little book nook you have at your house, it was nearing midnight then, you hadn’t really joined us to celebrate your birthday because you wanted to get started on that book”

Rosé caressed Jisoo’s cheek and planted a soft kiss on her nose.
