For the next few days Lay really kept his word and tried to get to know her, it started with joining her dinners with Xiumin, Chanyeol, Chen, and D.O.; who did not trust Lay's intentions.

They just felt like an ulterior motive was in place so they were not welcoming at all.

Chanyeol heeded her the most when she asked them all to be nice to Lay and try and make him feel welcomed. But as for the others, they simply refused to do so.

She then began splitting her lunches with D.O. when Lay asked her to come to see him as well.

Lay was very nice and he had a cute dimple smile she liked.

Yura didn't really know how to dress up to see Lay so on her second day with him, she opted in wearing her favorite jean dress and black kimono, and her favorite strappy heels.

Chanyeol always said he liked seeing her legs the most so she felt good going about what she had decided to wear to see her husband Lay.

As she joined him for lunch at his office, she noticed he was exceptionally quiet and thoughtful

“Lay, did I come at a bad time? I don't mind leaving if you have to work” she told him as he zoned out yet again in the middle of the conversation he had started.

“Oh no sorry, I was just thinking about an event my company is having. Will you join me?” he asked her as he set his utensils down and looked at her

“Well it's so sudden, would it be okay if the others joined me as well?” she wasn't entirely comfortable yet without her other husbands next to her even though Lay had treated her so nicely she still didn't fully trust him.

Lay chuckled “I knew you would ask that, well I mean we are all legally bound by marriage so I guess it's okay for them to come,” he said a little cryptically

“Look Lay I am trying okay? I usually always have lunch with D.O. but I have canceled them to have them with you so don't be sarcastic about a need I requested” she snapped at him not appreciating the way he mocked her

“I'm sorry that wasn't my intention, I was out of line I guess work is driving me a little crazy” he apologized to her

“Really? What's going on?” she tried to get him to vent “I might not know all logistics of your company but I am a good listener,” she told him as she reached over the table and gave his hand a little squeeze trying to comfort him

Lay looked at her a little shocked maybe he hadn't expected her to touch him but before she removed her hand and apologize if she crossed a line, he put his hand on top of her and gave it a small squeeze back

“Thank you” he smiled at her and he went on a rant about how he was having issues with some sellers and stockholders.

She listened to him go on and on about the troubles until he let her hand go and he began to eat again

“Will it be okay if I come to sleep with you tonight?” Lay suddenly asked suddenly and Yura choked on her water, she happen to be taking a sip off

“Are you okay?” Lay asked concerned as he stood up and went to her and patted her back gently

“Yes, I'm sorry you just caught me off guard,” she said as her cough died down.

Lay chuckled “I take your reaction as ‘no’ then” he sighed

“Give me tonight to talk to them, I am sure they will be okay with it by tomorrow” she added on quickly not liking that he looked hurt

Lay gave her a small smile “Alright then, well I’m sorry this has lunch is over” he told her and she put her utensils down

“Will I see you for dinner tonight?” she wanted to know whether to breach the subject of him coming to sleeping over when he wasn't around just in case the guys feel a little hostile.

“I don't think so I have a few things to take care of tonight,” he told her

He walked her out and planted a sweet kiss on her lips as she stopped at the door before stepping out of his office

It caught her off guard when he did that but she was a little more used to him and his sudden skinship

“Talk to you tomorrow love,” he said his goodbye and she waved at him a little shyly.

She left his office and looked at the secretary's desk and saw a pretty brown-haired girl staring daggers at her and her phone at hand.

Yura frowned the last thing she needed was some jealous girl at her neck because she shared a kiss with her husband.

She walked over and the girl quickly changed her expression she knew that her husband was at earshot so she tried to be a little quiet as she leaned into the girl's ear

“I married him, you can fawn all you wish but he is mine. I don’t need a jealous rant to be posted online and ruining my mood when I come to see my husband” she stated and the girl was wide-eyed and quickly apologized

“I don't want to get rid of you but I will if I have to” Yura threatened

She hated that so many women; one hated her because of who she was married to and secondly that they would spread malicious rumors about her and her marriage because they were jealous of her.

She just wants her life to be smooth even when at home things were far from it.

Even though that was the case Yura still put a front of a happy marriage and home and wasn't going to let a jealous girl ruin a facade she worked so hard to keep up in public.
