"Daddy!!!"

Alexander looked around and smiled brightly. His daughter came running up to him. She was like him, a succumbus. Her mother died during child birth because his baby girl stole the energy from her and she wasn't strong enough to replenish it.

Because of this, Kibum refused to fall in love.

"Kimmie~" Little Sarah called her Uncle Kibum and squirmed out of her father's arms.

"My little angel!" Kibum caught her and started spinning around, during the airplane. Xander smiled and tiredly sat on a bench, it had been awhile since they've 'fed.' If that was the right word. Stealing one's lifeforce wasn't exactly eating like a vampire but it was close enough.

While Kibum and Sarah played, Alex went to get them all some ice cones. While picking the flavors a lady he recognized walked up to him. She smiled slyly at him and handed him a note.

He just looked at her face though.

"Nicole?" He gasped.

Her face darkened and she roughly pushed the piece of paper in his hands and took off.

"Wait!" Alexander started to go after her but the ahjuma he was buying the cones from called him back, and complained that he hadn't payed yet.

"Kamawo." He thanked her and went back to his daughter and Kibum. The note already felt heavy in his jacket pocket. He forced a smile and ruffled his daughter's hair while she greedily ate her cone.

"Everything alright?" Kibum asked, scrutinizing his friend's face.

"Yeah? Why wouldn't it be?"

Kibum shrugged. "Just thought you seemed different than five minutes ago."

Alexander silently cursed his friend's perceptiveness.
