You were barefoot and running through the rain.

*It can't be.*

*There's no way.*

You stopped at a tree and sunk to the ground, hugging yourself.

You felt wretched. Everything about yourself that you had always wondered was in your head, screaming at you! You wanted to claw at your skin to rid yourself of the horrible feeling, to dig it all out. Your chest was constricting and you couldn't even breath. It was too much to handle.

You bit down when a flashback entered your head.

"Don't be afraid." You whispered.

The little boy sniffed.

"I'll help you." You offered your hand and he brought his hand out.

His skin touched yours and you could feel the energy entering your body.

"That's it." You smiled.

The little boy collapsed and you straightened it and made it look like he died of the cold. It was winter after all.

"Father." Your smirked.

"That's enough. You shouldn't steal their lives like that."

"Says who?"

"Says me."

The flashback ended there and you were crying.
