humanity's grasp of technology has amplified to the level by which medical procedures can completely alter your physical appearance in less than an hour, illnesses are cured before they even begin, and the life expectancy has risen to almost immortal levels.
in fact, technology has even given the capability to extract the stardust and space matter from people and export it to various cosmic businesses.stardust is a very valuable item.
in the city of neolite, a ragtag gang specializes in the trafficking of drugs and other unsavory items. you've gotta have money to put food on the table and the trafficking business is one of the quickest ways to get rich.
by chance, this group ends up with a job that pays enough to keep them all off the streets for good. the premise is simple : transport the stardust to the city of nee-pong without tainting it.
the seller neglected to tell them, however, that they'll be transporting a person. in fact, one of the most wanted people in the world: a boy made entirely of stardust.
i know that i'm wrapping up tkana (and i'm very excited about it!!), but i've been wanting something a little darker, something to stretch my angst muscles.
i've actually had this idea for .. a long time. it was pretty much just collecting dust in my notebooks for the longest time, but then i started watching redline and just .. the entire universe for this story came to life ! i hope you can also really enjoy this with me. it should be a lot of fun !

oooh so excited for the teaser!! i'm such a er for sci-fi, gang stories, and literal starboys. the db universe is just so intriguing *o* i have a few questions if you don't mind!
1) in terms organized crime, is it mostly recently-formed street gangs or do any generations-long crime families (e.g. the mafia, yakuza, etc) still exist?
2) how does social media work in the db universe? does it have an impact on culture and how ppl interact w/ each other or engage in digital escapism like it does our world?
3) do actual ppl still make up all the major movie and singer super stars or are bots and AI starting to dominate the field of entertainment ala vocaloid-style?

how can a person's family get rich in the first quadrant? is shipping still a big industry that rakes in a lot of money, is there any chaebol-type system still going around? are feelings of discontentment and general apathy for all the technology/those who refuse to use technology common or is everyone p much happy with the way the world has progressed? thank u!
hi tof!! i also have a few questions abt the db universe :))
1. is there a,, quality of stardust? as in, can one person have a better quality/more valuable stardust than another that could potentially sell for higher, etc
2. what language do people speak in neolite, or at this point in time is there a universal language? if it's the former and each area has a different language, are there any translators that could be employed for better communication?

Chapter 2: ok hi im really excited to write this but i have a question or two...
where does the existing stardust in the world come from?? like is extracted from everybody and the idea is that the artificial stuff is good enough? or is it taken only from certain ppl - like as a punisment or sth??
also if its not too much to ask could u like.. color over a map where the quadrants are? im guessing that neepong is japan, neolite is korea, and beijai is china? i just want to picture accurately where everything is in my head
1. are there people out there who harvest stardust illegally and if so who generally gets targeted? like do they just choose random people off the streets?
2. what would you prefer the age range to be?
3. are there any new big issues with regard to society other than the fact that jobs are being replaced by technology?
