in a nation that emphasizes test scores, professional success, and one's outward appearance, the students of hangyeong professional academy are truly the one's at the bottom of everyone's expectations. the kids enrolled are merely there to satisfy their parents' need to have a child in some sort of academic institution and the teachers are merely waiting for their paycheck to be processed at the end of the month. in a world of critics, hangyeong seems to only arouse doubts.

part of those doubts come from the blatant gang problem that plagues the surrounding districts of hangyeong. while teenage crime is rampant anywhere, it seemingly culminates at hangyeong. the police can only blanch as the six competing gangs duke it out for the role of rulers each and every year.
