Ji Hye’s POV

I awkwardly stood there as I checked my watch.

Hm… It’s only 5:10pm…

I still have time to go shopping! WOOHOO!

I looked around and walked towards the entrance of the park.

“Y-yah!” Someone called from behind.

I turned around as I raised an eyebrow.

Oops.

What am I supposed to do with L…?

“Want to come along?” I asked.

“U-uh… Sure…?” L caught up.

We walked in silence as L tried to keep a low profile, hoping not to be caught by fans and have another article written about him.

“OMG ICE CREAM!” L suddenly dashed into an ice cream shop.

I rolled my eyes as I followed him into the shop.

“Yah, buy me ice cream.” L his lips as he looked at all the different flavours of ice cream.

“Buy it yourself!” I retorted as I was prepared to head out of the shop.

“But… I don’t have money…” L gave me his puppy face.

I cringed at his sudden aegyo.

“How much…” I finally gave in.

“YAY THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU!” L suddenly hugged me.

My eyes widened in surprise as L took a step back.

“WAIT. I didn’t mean it like that! I meant… thank you…” L scratched the back of his neck.

L’s POV

OH .

THAT WAS SO CLOSE OMG.

I should learn how to think before speaking.

We continued to walk down the busy streets of Seoul, as I my strawberry ice cream.

Ji Hye was crazy.

CRAZY, I TELL YOU.

She went into almost every shop to try on shoes, clothes, accessories, etc.

She decided to buy a pair of shoes and we were waiting in line at the cashier.

When it was our turn to pay, no wait, scratch that.

When it was HER turn to pay, the cashier suddenly said something that completely shocked me.

“Aigoo, what a cute couple! Are you buying her these shoes, mister? What a sweet boyfriend…” She smiled as she placed the shoe box in a bag.

WHAT.

WE ARE NOT A COUPLE.

I glanced at Ji Hye and saw she had the same reaction as me.

“We aren’t a couple, miss!” Ji Hye frantically waved her hands, denying we were a couple.

“Ahh, but you two still look cute together!” The cashier exclaimed.

“Does this face look cute to you?” I made a face and pointed to it.

She quickly avoided my gaze and took Ji Hye’s money.

“Thank you for shopping!” She bowed, with her cheeks slightly pink.

And that’s how Myungsoo rolls.

We went back to the park as it was getting dark.

“Woah… It’s 7pm already. I should get home.” Ji Hye checked her watch.

“Do you… want to eat dinner together? My treat.” I gave an awkward smile.

“I thought you had no money?” Ji Hye glared at me.

“I lied.” I smirked as I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket of my pants.

“You idiot.” Ji Hye slapped me on the arm.
