*Lunch Time

Ji Hye’s POV

“OHMYGOSH KEEEEY!” I ran over and gave him a massive bear hug.

“Can’t… Breathe…” Key muttered.

I immediately let go of him.

“You will not believe what happened.”

“Go on…” Key crossed his arms.

“Infinite’s manager asked me to be their stylist…” I tiptoed and whispered in his ear.

Key’s POV

This girl better not be playing tricks on me.

It’s not even April fool’s day yet!

Ok. So, this girl wants me to believe her.

My dream job.

Taken.

The dream of running my hands through Woohyun’s hair…

Nuh-uh. Not gonna believe.

“You expect me to believe you?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Really. Look, I have L’s number.” She shoved her phone in my face.

“Pssh. Anyone can say that.” I slapped her hand away.

“Mmm… Would you believe me if I asked you to be my assistant…?” Ji Hye started backing away from me.

DAMN.

THIS GIRL ISN’T JOKING.

“JI HYE AH~” I sang as I ran towards her.

“SEE? I KNEW YOU’D BELIEVE ME.” Ji Hye laughed as she started to run.

Ji Hye’s POV

(At home)

“Umma?” I jumped onto the bed, while clutching my phone next to my ear.

“Can I-“

“OMO! Before I forget to tell you, we hired someone else for the shop! I hope you don’t mind…” Umma suddenly blurted.

“PERFECT. I GOT AN OFFER TO BE INFINITE’S STYLIST. CAN I PLEASE ACCEPT? OMG I’M BEGGING YOUUUU.” I pleaded.

There was silence for a few seconds as the words sank into her brain.

“Uhmm… Isn’t dangerous to be around so many… guys?” Umma hesitated.

“UMMA! Key will be with me!” I whined.

“Do you get paid?” I could imagine that sly grin on her face.

“UMMA!” I kept whining.

“Arasso, arraso. (Okay, okay.) You can take the job.”

I hung up the phone and stared squirming around on my bed.

Then I remembered…

HIM.

I shuddered at the thought of touching his oily, greasy hair and applying make-up on disgusting, grimy face.

I frowned and hoped I was assigned to someone like… Hoya.

Or Sunggyu.

Or Dongwoo.

Or Woohyun. No wait. He’s for Key.

Or Sungyeol.

Or Sungjong.

Just not L.

Oh right… I have to call L.

I sighed as I shakily pressed L’s contact number on my contact list. (a/n: She’s using an iPhone 4 ^^)

As my finger left the screen, a greasy fingerprint was left at that spot.

I aggressively rubbed my hands on the sides of my shirt, hoping to clean my hands.

“Hello?” A deep voice suddenly spoke.

I clasped my hands over my mouth and swiftly placed the phone next to my ear.

“Ne. This is Ji Hye…” I stared off precariously.

“I know that.”

I furrowed my eyebrows and continued to talk.

“I’m taking the job. Plus, Key’s gonna be my assistant.” I smiled to myself.

“Who said you could have an assistant?” L scoffed.

Psh. He just ruined my moment.

“I said so. Go tell your manager.” I hung up before he could even say anything else.

I scrolled through my contacts once again and pressed Key’s contact number.

Fortunately, he picked up on the third ring.

“Key, get ready to get your fingers burnt.”

“…HUH?” Key asked, baffled.

“I meant, we got the job, and… we might burn our fingers. You know, while styling Infinite’s hair…” I hung my head down in humiliation as I felt my cheeks turn pink.

“Why didn’t you just say so.” I could envision Key’s diva face, rolling his eyes.

“Hmph. Bye.”
