I thought I didn’t, but I do.

But sometimes I don’t, even though I did.

I want you.

And then I don’t.

But then I do when I need to.

I hate you.

Except when I love you and want you.

But ironically, sometimes I still hate you.

I hate that I love you when I want you.

I love when I hate that I want you.

I want to hate to love you.

But I can’t.

This was originally a stand-alone freeverse poem but I'm thinking I wanna write something angsty with it. I'm not sure yet but if I did it would probably be slice-of-life-ish

Chapter 4: this is so heartbreaking and beautiful, i really hope you decide to pick it up again! i would love to read the whole thing even if it ends up having a sad ending (which i hope it doesn't but i would definitely still read this regardless!) thank you for sharing! :)
