SinB's POV

beep beep beep

I hear my alarm clock ring. Why do I keep forgetting to turn it off; school didn't even start yet! I reach over and press the snooze button and get right back into my covers. My warm covers and cozy blanket, so comfortable and calming. I could just lay there forever, and I was basically melting into the bed, the outside rain soothing my ears. I never wanted to leave, and I could feel my eyelids slowly get heavier, and I drifted off to sleep...

BOOM!

"HOLY , I'M UP!"

Oh. It's just a thunderstorm! Nothing bad. I close my eyes again.

Wait.

Oh shoot!

I get out of bed and walk to Yerin's room. I had forgot she has this huge fear of thunder! I make way to her door and as I expected, she was curled up in her blanket, looking like ET, or that one Quenlin vine. She looked freaking adorable, and I couldn't help but plop my flat Asian right next to her's. I hugged her tight from outside her blanket, and she fixes it so it covers me as well. She leans her head on my shoulder and I look to the side, admiring her soft features. I trace my fingers softly on her jawline and brush her messy bangs to the side, causing her to smile that heart-stealing eye smile of hers that I love so much. I smile back softly, and lean my head on hers.

I love these quiet moments between her and I. I'm quite used to them since we grew really fond of each other for the past seven years together as best friends, but they're always the best. It's these moments that I cherish most with Yerin. She really brightens up my whole world, and it might sound cheesy but it's true. I'd rather spend my time with her than anyone else. And it's only now that I'm realizing that it might be more than just friendship. And I'm not sure if it was my drunk imagination playing tricks with me or not, but maybe Yerin kissed me last night. It probably was just a dream, since it's Yerin. Nothing more than my best friend and roommate. But, hey, I take what I can get.

All of a sudden, another loud- bolt of thunder strikes, and Yerin jumps in shock and panic, causing her to fall on top of me. We kinda just stay in that position since Yerin's too shocked to move. She hides her face in the crook of my neck, and I feel her tears fall onto my shoulder. She was crying.

"Y-Yerin, it's okay... It's just thunder!"

I feel her hug me tighter than before, sniffling a bit. I rub my hands in a circular motion on her back soothingly, which seemed to calm her down.

"It's okay. I'm here for you, no matter what."

I pause for a bit, hesitating if I should say this. But it felt so right.

"I love you."
