Sooyeon’s P.O.V

*sigh*

We’re here, again, SM Building.

 It’s not that I hate the people in this building or anything, don’t get me wrong, but there are just too many memories here.

 I felt someone grasping my hand and looked up, Jihyun. I recognized her expression, she was going to cry.

“What do they want from us? Why are we here?” Yeonie asked and wrapped her arms around Jihyun’s shoulders when she saw her expression.

 I didn’t say anything, correction, I couldn’t say anything. I didn’t know what to say because I myself don’t know why we are here.

Our manager, Jinhyung, popped out of nowhere with Jieun, Issy and Hyemin but Hyun – Ae was nowhere to be seen. Before I could ask, Issy smiled and said, “Hyun- Ae will come later, she has class.”

 I nodded but raised my eyebrows a few seconds later, “Why are you not in class?” Hyemin giggled and said, “Because we’re old enough to skip class.”  I opened my mouth to nag but I guessed Jieun sensed this and clearly blurted out, “It wasn’t our idea, and manager oppa forced us into this.”

 I sighed, “Whatever, just fix your uniform and stand up straight, look presentable.”

“Yeah, we don’t want to look weak and stupid in front of the enemy.” Jihyun added, trying to keep a straight face. She’s trying so hard, I can feel it. She’s trying not to cry in front of the younger ones. Still, these people aren’t our enemies, we were family and some of us are still are. “Unnie, do you want some banana milk?” Hyemin offered to Jihyun.

 I couldn’t help but smile, she was trying to cheer Jihyun up.

Jihyun smiled and took the banana milk.

“Jinhyung oppa, why are we here? Are we in trouble or something? I don’t remember spreading any rumours about the SM artists lately, though.” Jieun said with a small smirk. I glared at her as the memory flowed through my mind; she once spread a rumour about Jessica unnie and Donghae oppa dating. That was some big mess. The other members laughed at the thought.

Jinhyung smirked and said, “Just wait and see.”

A professional looking lady with blue contacted eyes approached us with a smug expression. I heard Jieun muttering something like, “Effin fake bish.” I couldn’t help but laugh a bit; the lady was our enemy from 3 years ago.

We were a bit rebellious back then so we were always sent to meet this lady; the counsellor.

I’m guessing that the lady heard her because her hands balled up into a fist. Jieun was stepping closer to her and before a cat fight could break up, Yeonie pulled Jieun away from her. “Stop, let’s safe our energy for the real fight.” Yeonie said and smirked at the lady who was red in embarrassment. I wanted to discipline them but my heart said no. I’m enjoying this.

“Please follow me, walk carefully.” The lady said bitterly.

Our manager was the first one to react; he walked in front of us. I followed him and the other members followed me.

At the back, I can hear Yeonie whispering comforting words to Issy. Issy had always been sensitive and since she’s still young, I’m afraid that things like this will bother her so I, Jihyun and Yeonie try our best to comfort her and the other younger ones.

“I’m okay now, thank you Yeonie unnie.” I heard her say.

“No problem, I’ll buy you some bubble tea after this.” I smiled at that one.

“Umm, bubble tea. Thank you Yeonie unnie.” Issy squealed in excitement.

“Wait; did you just call me unnie?” Yeonie couldn’t believe it.

Issy giggled and walked next to me, leaving Yeonie behind. I heard someone sniff so I looked up. Jihyun was looking away, trying to hide her face while rubbing her eyes. “Jihyun-ah.” I was surprised, truly surprised. She had always held in her tears before but I guess she just can’t take it anymore.

“I’m scared Soul unnie, what if I lose my temper and go crazy? That certainly wouldn’t be good.”

The 5 of us stopped walking and crowded around her, trying to shield from others.

“Jihyun unnie, even if you lose your temper and go crazy, we’re still beside you. We’ll always be, please remember that and relax. Everything will be okay.” Issy said. We nodded, completely agreeing with her.

Jihyun calmed down and wiped her tears away saying that she was now okay. She flashed us her brightest smile and said that she loved us.

“We love you too!” The rest of us shouted. 

“Group hug!” A familiar voice squealed and we looked at the source of the voice, Hyun-Ae.  We giggled and did a group hug.

“Ladies, hurry up.” Jinhyung snapped and we walked, holding hands.

Jihyun’s P.O.V

After the group hug, I felt more energised especially with Hyun-Ae there. She’s our little ball of enjoyment.
 

But, walking nearer and nearer to the meeting room that we all knew so well, I could feel the tension raise. Hyun-Ae who was beside me, was shaking so I held onto her .I could feel Yeonie’s hand that was holding mine sweat. I took out some tissue from my bag and passed it to the members.

*sigh*

Are we really going to this? Are we really going to meet the men that crushed our dreams a few years ago?

“This is just too much.” Hyun-Ae whispered. I’m guessing that she was saying that inside her mind but accidentally said it out loud.

The witch lady stopped in front of the meeting room and opened the door for us. We didn’t hear anything inside the room.

Jinhyung urged us to go inside but when we didn’t budge he shoved me in, I glared at him but he just raised his eyebrows at me. Sooyeon unnie entered after me and slightly pushed me to walk forwards. I kept my eyes on the floor as I knew that all of the SM artists are here, including the trainees.

The other members started to enter so I walked to the corner of the room with the others behind me.

I looked up at Jinhyung and saw him going out so I hissed at him. He got the signal and sighed before entering the room again. My eyes accidentally met with another pair, Amber.  She waved at me and I smiled at her. She’s one of my best friends; I couldn’t ignore her so we continued on with our relationship even after I left the company.  She started waving to Issy after that and gave Sooyeon a small smile.

Someone cleared their throat so we automatically looked up. It was CEO Kim Youngmin and he was walking towards us.

Jieun scoffed with Hyemin but they were stopped by Soul unnie.

 I quickly looked away from him and looked at the floor, clenching my fist. All the trainees and artists bowed, including the other members except for me and Jieun.

“I see you two haven’t changed a bit.” He muttered. I’m guessing that he was talking about me and Jieun but we just kept our face.

“Sit down.” He motioned to the 8 chairs and we sat down, including Jinhyung. The other people who knew the other 6 exchanged greetings with them while I just gave them a small smile except towards my cousin, Woo Jiyoung, a trainee. I rolled my eyes at her and she made a face. From the corner of my eyes, I could feel someone staring at me but I resisted the temptation to look over. I knew who it was but I refused to look at the person, even though my heart is aching for him. He shook his head with a glare but I looked down. I didn’t want to look at him, it hurts too much.

The door opened and Andy bowed saying that he was sorry for being late.

The 8 of us sigh in relieve, our boss was here and he brought Teen Top with him.

The room burst out with cheers after seeing him and Teen Top.

 They bowed and waved while we rolled our eyes at their childish fan services. I saw Changjo glaring at the person who was staring at me but the guy ignored him and continued staring at me.  *sigh* whatever.

Yeonie’s P.O.V

Wow, I can understand why people are getting so excited with Andy here but I didn’t know that Teen Top was so popular but I’m thankful towards them for joining us.

“Please calm down everybody, we should continue with the meeting.” The CEO warned, glaring at the Teen Top boys and Andy, telling them to sit down.

I swear, if he disrespects Andy or any of the Teen Top boys, I will tear him apart.

I let him go with disrespecting us a few years ago but if it happens again, he’s done.

CAP sat down beside me, smiling softly. He looks so good looking with his natural sweet smile and his manly feels.

Wooow, Yong Wonyeon, pay attention to the meeting.  

I smiled back at him and tried to pay attention to the meeting.

 I looked around at the members who were trying to pay attention; some actually did like Soul unnie and Issy.

 Jieun looked like she was paying attention but she was twirling her hair, showing that she’s bored. Hyemin and Hyun-Ae kept on playing silly games with Ricky and Niel while Jihyun unnie was distracted by something. She looked uncomfortable but I couldn’t help her because I was far from her. Soul unnie realised that we weren’t paying attention and cleared .

The girls snapped out of their fantasies and paid attention to what the old man was saying.

“I’m sure you are all wondering why we are gathered here today, except for Andy of course.”  Mr. Kim Youngmin said, motioning to Andy. That proud old man was glowing when his name was said, I’m pretty sure all the Teen Top members and the 7 of us were rolling our eyes, well I was. I guessed Andy saw that because he muttered, “Meany.”

“Anyways, Andy and I had a meeting a few weeks ago as he wished and we discussed about the girls’, well, everything.” The CEO said, looking cheery. What, they discussed everything? Creeps.

“Because of several reasons, Andy has decided to transfer the girls back into our company. Considering that the girls were once a member of SM Town, it’ll be okay for them, right?” He continued.

What?! The room was silent; no one reacted for around a minute until Jieun broke the silence, in a bad way.

She got up and punched the wall behind her. “What the ?!” She swirled around angrily and pointed an accusing finger to Andy, “You! What’s going through your head, huh?! Do you want to get rid of us so badly?” She was on the verge of crying, I was too. Hyemin hid her face and cried, Hyun-Ae following afterwards.

 Issy laughed and said, “You’re joking, right? Please tell me that you’re joking. Don’t do this to us, Andy.” But when she saw Andy and the CEO’s straight face, she cried.

I couldn’t hold it in anymore, it was just too painful so I cried. CAP hugged me, trying to calm me down.

Jieun continued with her shouting, “Soul unnie, and Jihyun unnie, say something!”

“Stop it, sit down and act more professionally. No matter what company we’re in, the important thing is our career.” Soul unnie said. Her answer was so shocking and heartbreaking that I pulled away from CAP, trying not to glare at her. “What? You’re just going to act ‘professional’ and let this go?” Jieun asked, probably not believing her. “Yes. Andy doesn’t want us anymore, why should we cling onto him?” She said, face void of any emotion.

Hyun-Ae stood up and said, “This isn’t right! 3 years ago, I wanted to debut under SME but right now I want to debut under TOP Media. Please, stop ruining our dreams and don’t say that it doesn’t matter what company we’re in, it does! The atmosphere is different, the aura is different, and everything is different!”

Everyone listened to her; it was rare for the maknae to do something like this, so we listened very carefully.

Then she fell to the floor, crying.

 Soul unnie’s face showed that she was in pain, seeing Hyun-Ae like that so she looked away after Ricky picked Hyun-Ae up. “Jihyun noona! Say something, don’t just sit there.” Niel shouted, more like pleaded. That’s right; Jihyun unnie was the only one who didn’t say anything yet.

She didn’t even react before Niel said anything.

Jihyun unnie got up and said, “Soul unnie is right but if that is how our ‘career’ is, being pushed around like objects, then I refuse to have anything to do with it. I’m done with this ty business.” She took her bag and walked out of the door just like that. Our eyes widened and nobody reacted for a few seconds until one of the EXO members, Suho, chased after her.

We couldn’t even move a single inch.

Our faces were void of any emotions but I’m sure that the same question was going through our minds, “Are we over?”

Lol, no we’re not over. This is just the beginning so stay tuned. Oh, by the way, you still have time to change your partners but no EXO’s Suho. He’s mine!!! Muahahaha.
