007 - N.O.
The Awakening of the Sacred CovenThe coven's repository is only accessible to the members of the Golden Circle, which includes the Sacred Coven vampires, council, and Black Swans. This is hidden inside Songdo High's library, a modern building behind the Afternoon class's building, which resembles Book Park in Hannam-Dong.
Inside the basement are the archives containing all the records of the Sacred Coven for all eternity. They are inscribed in books that display literally nothing. Unless you're a Black Swan or a vampire that has the ability to read through the blank pages, you'll understand how the society works. Because they are top secret information from the untouchables of the coven, they are locked inside a special room with a shabby chic interior having pastel-colored everything. Contrary to the dark history of these vampires who are feared by the mortals, the interior of where their files are kept is nothing like that.
Krystal was looking for a biography of someone she met the other night. She was positive that he is a vampire. And if he is, why did she feel a sudden pull towards him when she looked him in the eye? And the fact that he smiled at her makes her think that they knew each other all along. If she knew him, could her past be related to him?
She knew so well that in the world of vampires, that so-called "feeling" means that there is a bond between two persons. It's either a vampire-human familiar bond or a vampire-lover bond. It couldn't be the first option, but it couldn't be the latter, too.
Aside from what she saw that night, she overheard a conversation in the Kim's mansion. Seokjin told his father that someone from their family has come back. That was the only clue she had so she ended up reading the Kim's family's history in the Sacred Coven in the repository.
As she settled on the couch attached to the window in between the tall shelves, she stretched her legs out and flipped through the pages of the Kim Family book of archives on her lap. It's been a while since she held this book in her hand. She remembers all too well how she trained to be a Black Swan, more so, how she became one. Being a Black Swan runs in their blood. Once Krystal turned 16, the Kim family, a long-term investor in her family's enterprise vouched for her service in the coven. She was first convinced that it was a training for future business tycoons until she found out their dark secret. She wouldn't serve the Kim family if not because of Seokjin whom she likes the most.
What's not to like about him anyway?
Krystal sighed, stopping halfway through flipping a page until she noticed a certain photo that was on the page.
"Kim Jong-in?" She mumbled to herself, scrutinizing the man in the picture. It looks like he was wearing a maroon velvet coat with a white dress shirt as inner clothing. The picture only showed half of his body from head to waist. His hair was carefully brushed up and he had those doe eyes that, to her, express loneliness.
The mystery guy was finally named.
She was sure it was him. He had the same full lips as Seokjin's. Though she still isn't sure if the two are related. They both have the same surnames, yes, but it doesn't work that way in Korea. She still has to find out by reading more about their his
