¨In a minute, we'll let you all into the arena, which is where you will be playing. The lights will be off-- obviously-- and the objective of the game is to try and hit as many people as possible without getting hit yourself. If you get hit-- that is, if the lights lining the edges of your armor goes out and you feel vibrations coming from it-- then you lose, you're out, and quickly proceed to the exit so others can continue enjoying their experience. You can hit a person by firing your gun at the two metal plates positioned on their stomach and at the center of their backsides. Keep in mind that you will have a limited supply of bullets, of which the said number will flash periodically across your gun, so don't be stupid and fire at everything you see. Feel free to explore the arena and utilize any equipment we've placed for your convenience. Remember, although the goal is to hit other people, you should first and foremost try and stay alive yourself. If you get hit, you automatically lose. So stay alive.¨

The elevator abruptly comes to a stop, and a small, black-haired boy stumbles backwards-- right into a broader and warm chest. The latter quickly catches him and places his large hands atop his small shoulders.

¨Careful, Baekhyun-ah,¨ the giant chuckles in that low voice he's ever so famous for. ¨We wouldn't want you out before the game starts, now would we?¨

The older boy blushes and grips his gun tighter. ¨Sorry Chanyeol-ssi.¨

The pair's conversation is soon interrupted by the automated voice. ¨ The floor will now open in 5 seconds. We wish you the best of luck in becoming the ultimate laser tag champion. 5….4….3….2….1 --¨

The intercom lets out a soft ding, and the door slowly opens, revealing a dark but open area.

Everyone streams out of the suffocating elevator, relieved to finally be out in the open and breathing something other than the carbon dioxide of their neighbors. The players scatter, and Baekhyun is swept along with the mass, letting himself be pushed around by the yelping crowd.

He soon loses sight of Chanyeol in the midst of the crazed rush. Shouts echo in the room and guns go off in every corner, constantly-decreasing red numbers flashing across the whole arena.

He checks his gun. Everyone has 10 loaded shots, as does he, and this is easily identified by the red flashing ¨10
