first of all, we'd like to extend our greatest apologies for being away from this page for so long, and if our absence made any of you question whether we will be continuing this contest or not. fret not, our definitie answer is yes, this contest will go on until the final deadline, which will be announced below.

so, four or so months have passed since our last update, but we have indeed been reading your entries. though, we have received some messages regarding withdrawals due to lack of inspiration, and whatnot. with that, this update is to highlight a reminder about withdrawing: if you'd like to withdraw an entry, YOU MAY do so ANYTIME BEFORE THE CONTEST CLOSES, BUT YOUR ENTRY WILL STILL BE COUNTED FOR. in other words, WITHDRAWING DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO AN EXTRA CHANCE. in other other words, IF YOU HAVE ENTERED three STORIES AND YOU WISH TO WITHDRAW ONE, YOU CANNOT ENTER ANOTHER STORY IN PLACE OF THE WITHDRAWN STORY, as you have already used up all three chances. if you have entered with two stories and wish to withdraw one, you have only one chance left, and so on.
