Long time ago in a country callen Panem its people rose to fight. Tired of living in poverty while the Capitol enjoyed a careless life. Tired of being slaves.

They tried, they did their best. But they still lost.

One district was destroyed. Twelve others were punished in a most terrifying way.

Each year, 24 children - two from each of the remaining districts - were chosen to take part in the cruelest game ever seen. The game of survival. Twenty-three die, only one remains.

So that nobody would forget they lost. So that everybody would always remember they are powerless against the Capitol.

Watch your children die. Listen to them crying out in agony. Don't flich or look away.

Watch and pretend you believe they could win the Hunger Games and survive.

Watch, because the Capitol is always watching you.

Can you imagine being thrown into an area with 23 other people you've grown to hate and like over the past few days? Cameras following you everywhere, recording your every move, every second, while you eat, sleep, hide and kill.

How would you feel not only fighting for your survival, but also knowing that while your family's watching you live on television with horror, there are people betting on who will die first?

Who dies and who lives?

This story is going to be slightly different from the cannon. Mockingjay didn't happen. Cathcing fire had a different ending.
