Chanyeol placed his phone on his desk after locking the screen. He sighed, but shook his head with a small smile: his friends were all idiots, and whilst that could sometimes be challenging, he wouldn't have it any other way. 

Pushing his phone aside, Chanyeol fished out his study material and a pen, and prepared himself for a long night ahead.

He only paused when his roomate entered his room without knocking-again. Before Chanyeol could complain, the shorter male held out a plate.

"Hey, thought you might want a cookie?"

"You made these?" Chanyeol asked curiously, only to be met with a loud scoff.

"Of course not who do you think I am? I got Junmyeon to give me some after he upset me yesterday."

"That's not very nice of you Kai," Chanyeol chided, but he still took one of the cookies and bit into it, grinning at it afterwards in childish glee.

"He wasn't very nice. It was the least he could do."

"What did he do?" Chanyeol watched his roommate jump onto his bed, the smile never leaving his face despite Kai's own frown.

"Doesn't matter anymore, but at least now I can get free stuff from him."

Chanyeol went to respond, but his ringtone suddenly jarred his thoughts and caused his roomate to laugh.

"Seriously Yeol? Naruto? We aren't kids anymore."

Chanyeol simply shook his head with a laugh and picked up his mobile device.

Before Chanyeol could respond to the message, Kai was by his side, reading the simple text with a snort, "Sehun is hitting on you."

"What? Wait-" Chanyeol held his hands out suddenly, almost dropping his phone in the process, "you know this guy?"

"You don't?"

"No. Junmyeon added me  to a group chat with him yesterday. I don't know why. Tao knows him too." Chanyeol frowned, but the whole gesture just seemed to morph into a childish pout, and Kai stopped himself from cooing.

"He's in my dance class. Really tall, skinny, stoic. Like he lost a coin up his and it's still up there bringing him discomfort to this day."

Chanyeol didn't comment on the last part of Kai's helpfully unhelpful description, and the latter went back to Chanyeol's bed to flop onto it.

"Do you have a picture?"

"Ask him for one."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Chanyeol frowned and Kai rolled onto his stomach, watching with a smile as Chanyeol continued to grumble to himself.

"What did he say?"

"I sent a picture and he said he could work with it," Chanyeol looked over to his roommate with hopeful eyes, expecting an explanation. Kai could only snort; he wasn't prepared to say what he thought that might mean.

"Ask him to send a picture back then, doofus." Kai ignored Chanyeol's glare, and soon enough his roommate was tapping away on his phone screen again.
