When Myungsoo looked back at the table where all of s and himself sat, emptiness greeted him. Instead, there was a book opened on the table. A gleaming light surrounded the mysterious object, making it looked ethereal, in addition to the infinity symbol glowing just above the said item. However, Myungsoo did not have a long time to observe the book closer since he was suddenly tackled by someone to the bed inside the room. His bruised back hit the mattress quite hard, but he did not feel any pain.

The figure that ambushed him continued to try to hit him, as if preventing him from moving. At that time, Myungsoo just realized that Hoya did not recognized him, or worse, mistaking him for someone else. Slowly, Myungsoo’s head was getting lighter and he had a hard time breathing.

“Hoya-hyung. This is me, Myungsoo, L.” Myungsoo said in a small whisper, trying to make the older aware of his identity, while using his remaining strength to keep Hoya from killing him. Hoya’s angry eyes were gradually becoming softer as the older processed Myungsoo’s words. Myungsoo could feel the grip on his neck weaken and he finally could breathe properly again. Before Hoya could attack him again, Myungsoo quickly reversed the situation and pushed Hoya to the bed.

“Why did you attack me, hyung?” Myungsoo asked, confused about the latter’s action. Hoya also had the same confused look on his face, his eyes scanning Myungsoo’s face.

“You looked a lot like him. I’m sorry I did not recognize you. I had to stay aware to protect the others.” Hoya said, a tired small smile appeared on his hard expression. “I’m glad you’re fine, L.”
