"I'm sorry, but I have to leave now ..... I don't want to miss my flight." He gave a long sigh. Not wanting to look at her, he gave her a cold shoulder and avoided eye contact until he was out of the apartment.

He left and never looked back. Not even at her. He left and he took her heart with him.

"You bastard." That's all she had to say before her hand touch his cheek making a loud sound. She had slapped him. "... don't you see.." she begin, "h-how can y-you..." her soft voice cracked, and a tear ran  down her cheek

There was a small pause before she tried to regain herself and did her best not to break in front of him.

"How can you not see all my scars your love has caused?"
