+ CHAPTER ELEVEN
UNI-PRINCE! ユニプリンス ; chapter twelve updated!uni-prince!
"Han Jisung. If I say you must, then you must." the last words from his father before he suddenly hung up the phone drove Jisung crazy. "Dad-" Jisung sighed before hit his fist on the table. Darn it. He had to attend the stupid family meeting between his and his fiance who turned out to be someone he barely knew. Jisung his lips before he glanced at his watch. He still have one hour to actually make up to the meeting. Quickly, he took his navy blue coat before he walked out of the dorm, stomping in anger.
"Jisung-ah- where are you heading to-" Woojoo blinked as he saw his friend walking looking extremely mad. He sighed before he nodded and muttered, "Go then. I'm all alone in the house." he said before he threw himself on the couch and stared at the ceiling.
Soon, he heard the door closed as he excitedly lifted up his body to a sitting position only to be greeted by the baker, Yul. "Hey, Woojoo, all alone?" he asked as he made his way to the kitchen, opening the fridge and stared at its almost empty content. "Mhmm, yep. But I'm heading to the vet at 8." he replied short before he came back to his actual position, laying. "Jisung seemed to be.... annoyed. Did you said something to him?" asked Yul before he took out a carton of milk and his other hand reaching for a glass.
"I DID NOT!" said Woojoo panickly. "I swear I didn't-" Yul laughed and smiled before he drank his milk. "Alright then, alright. I was just assuming. It's not like it's the first time to be seeing him.. in that kind of mood." said Yul before he flashed a smile.
Baekhua was at his total frustration. He received a phone call from his father countless of times telling him to come over to the house for dinner with some of his father's business acquintances. "How many times do I have to say to this ty calls that I don't want to attend the dinner." he muttered under his breath before he groaned in frustration.
He had to attend his special date with Yoon tonight. Yoon is known as a person who's extremely hard to agree on special dates with him. But this time, Yoon agreed to it. And he couldn't just cancel this. Baekhua almost screamed in the hallroom. Thankfully, it is just him there.
He glanced at his watch. It's lunch time. And he knew he's having lunch as usual with his favourite person, Kang Yoon. Immediately, he rushed to the cafeteria, making sure she didn't wait there long.
The cafeteria was busy as always. He saw a few of the uni prince's members sitting and eating happily while laughing together. He acted as if he didn't see them and only searched for Kang Yoon.
A few minutes later, "You're,,, looking for me?" a voice from behind that almost got him jumping in suprise landed on his ears. Immediately he turned and blinked a few times. "You- just got here." he said and let out a breath. "My class just ended. Come here. Let's sit there." she softly said as she walked in front of him, leading him the way to the seat beside the window.
"So, you're picking me up tonight,, or I'll be going there by myself?" she asked as she took a sip of his seaweed soup. Baekhua snorted as he stared at her. Kang Yoon, has already gotten used to it. Baekhua's scary, mysterious yet y stares.
"I'm picking you up of course." Baekhua smirked a bit before their eyes met as Kang Yoon's heart skipped a bit. But still, she manage to pull off that "okay whatever you're not handsome" look.
"You're,,, not eating?" she asked. "Hm, no. Not hungry." he replied short.
Honestly, his heart felt a bit uncomfortable as he kept thinking about his father's phone calls. It's not like he was trying to be a good child or what not. It's just- he knew his father would do anything to make him be there. To make him follow his words. And this time, Kang Yoon was the reason he couldn't follow his orders.
He,,, might hurt her in some ways.
And he's scared of that.
He's scared if something happened to Kang Yoon.
"Hey there" there she came. Jung. Soo. Jung. The starter pack of Yul's nightmares of surviving his uni life. Yul sighed hard before he turned to look at Soojung and flashed a kind smile and turned back to focusing on is meal.
Yul and Woojoo has decided to have a meal in cafeteria as they got bored being the only human in the dorm. And so, they encountered with Soojung. Woojoo, being the cutesy boy ever lived, he waved excitedly to Soojung.
"Hello there! How are you?" he cutely asked. Soojung chuckled at the existence of the cute mushy Woojoo with him. Soojung pressed her elbow on the table as she laid her chin on her palm, staring at Yul with her sparkling eyes.
"Youre,,, alone, Soojung-ssi?" asked Woojoo innocently before he blinked a few times. Soojung smiled at this cute little fella here and replied short. "No."
Woojoo nodded slowly. Yul isn't comfortable with her presence although it has already been almost every day she's here to say hi to him. Then again, the friendly Woojoo asked, "Is your, band having any shows today?"
Soojung smiled excitedly. "It's tomorrow. Tomorrow night. It'll just be a plain and simple show. Nothing special. We're celebrating one of our band members' birthday." she said. "Oh- is it Minwoo's birthday tomorrow- I didn't know-" Woojoo's words was cut off with Soojung's as she immediately explained to him.
"No no!! It was- other band member. It's Wonpil's." said Soojung. Yul immediately finished his meal as honestly he wanted to disappear from her sight quickly. As he finished his last bite, Soojung stood up and waved. "Bye. I gotta go to class." Slowly she leaned in closer to the baker's face before whispering, "See you,,,soon?" as she smiled.
Thump. Yul didn't know how she made him feel a bit- fluttered- as they say. And so, he returned it with a slight smile and continue to ignore her. Soojung, who has gotten used to it, she walked away, with eyes all stuck on her, judging her acts on the loved baker. However, it's not hard to ignore them, according to her.
Woojoo was,,,, honestly impressed with it.
"Wow, she really got that power isn't she?" he asked before he finished off his banana milk.
Woojoo looked around and carved a smile on his face. "Yul-ah! I gotta go now. See you later!"
Ah- Yul forgot that Woojoo had to go to the vet by now. And so, there he was left alone. At least not with Soojung then he's totally fine with that.
As he didn't have any classes today, he decided to walk around the buildings to kill time. He walked slowly with his hands inside the pocket of his brown designer's coat. He walked pass by a few halls that's currently having classes. One by one, until one face that actually caught his attention.
It's Jung Soojung. He didn't really know that she's into... psychology...?
He stared at her. She has that beautiful hair, that covers her sharp attractive jawline. Her eyes was staring so intensely. Perhaps, she was focusing with the lectures. Her lips was coloured with a rosy pink lipstick that almost didn't look like she's wearing any. It's pink. And it looks soft. Yul wondered, how could someone like her, be very interested in understanding human? And... acts like that around him.
Can't she see that he's uncomfortable around her? She shouldve known...because, she studied. About human.
Yul sighed. He couldn't almost believe that he is now, involved in a clique that he is very much, wanted to avoid. Soojung, Minwoo, and their damn bandmates.
"YAH KIM MINWOO! You didn't come to class today, you left me hanging when I had to answer to our lecturer's questions regarding why arent you present today?" there she was. Sooji, the girl Minwoo could not believe it, that he's involved into. "Well- I... accidentally woke up late. I couldn't make it. It was... not on purpose." he said, honestly feeling a bit- shocked.
Sungjin and Jae stayyed quiet beside him, somehow, trying to stop themselves from laughing. Sooji sighed as she glared at him while crossing her arms together. She looked away in disgust and soon, handed him her notebook.
"Here. I've.. done some of the... parts. Alone." she said while looking somewhere else. Minwoo blinked in shock. "W-what?" he muttered. Sooji sighed hard. "I said I've done some parts. I want you to read it. So you're not going to be too clueless on our next discussion. I want to submit this project real quick." said Sooji before she made an eye contact with the rocker.
"Ah- alright-" he took the rosy pink A4 sized notebook of hers without breaking their contact. "Just- make sure- you correct me if I scribbled on something about music wrongly. I only have my textbook and google to help me with it earlier." she said as she broke the contact at looked down.
Minwoo didn't reply and so, Sooji walked away, also, without saying anything.
"Wow- what did you do to the school's most prettiest goddess ever lived, Kim Minwoo?" asked Jae as he playfully hits Minwoo on his shoulders. "You didn't flirt.. And she... doesn't seem to... like you? I'm impressed." said Sungjin. Minwoo looked at both his bandmates with face full of annoyance.
"Cut it off guys. Whatever." said Minwoo as he stomped away, with his bandmates laughing at him.
A girl, just made Kim Minwoo went speechless.
Jisung took a glance at the girl, who was sitting opposite him. Who turned out to be his fiance. Park Sooyoung. Smiling softly, actually looking happy with the strings that tied them together. "Well then I guess Mr Han, your son really does match up well with our Sooyoung." said Mr Park, as he laughed happily. Jisung bowed his head slowly and smiled politely.
"What course are you studying, Han Jisung?" asked Mr Park. "I'm- studying law." he replied short before he smiled again, politely. Although Jisung completely refused to this marriage, he knew, he had to keep up with his reputation. "Well then, following his parents' steps then, aren't he?" Joked Mr Park. Sooyoung smiled sweetly as Jisung threw an almost sharp glare to her.
Jisung knew, he had to really escape this boring lunch meeting. They're not even discussing about the marriage. They're just- knowing each other. Which to him, is really- nothing.
He didn't have classes and his parents knew well about his timetable. He can't lie. That'll be- cheap. And he didn't have any club meetings to attend- wait. Yes. Club. Uni prince.
"Uhm, I'm so sorry to interrupt but- I really have to excuse myself. I have an important unexpected club meeting and it is very important for me to attend it as I am the president of it-" his words was then cut off by Sooyoung who unexpectedly, said something, so so unexpected.
"Isn't it on 2:00 p.m. everyday?" she asked.
Oh .
"Uhm- again, I repeat, it's an unexpected meeting. It's an emergency and it'll be very improper for me if I didn't take the responsible for my members-"
"Okay okay, you can go, dear. It's okay. It's your responsibility." weirdly, this is said by Mr. Park. "After all, responsibility is so important in marriage, right? It's good that your son practises it well in his daily life. What a good son, you have here, Mr. Han." said Mr. Park and laughed along.
Jisung smiled politely before he stood up and bowed, "Then, I'll get going."
There, left Park Sooyoung, who was a bit disappointed with it.
"So then, let's add up some pop ups whenever the avatar are going on upgrades. I think it'll be great. It'll be better in the terms of its graphics." said Hyunjun as he got his eyes stuck on the screen. "Uhm- okay." replied Yerim short which somehow annoyed Hyunjun in some ways. Hyunjun was busy typing out codes and his mind is telling him to rest but he knew he need to end this project sooner or later.
"Hey could you please hand me the deisgn of the avatar?" he asked as he needed to make codes for it. There, he seemed not to be getting a reply. Hyunjun groaned in annoyance as he shifted his gaze to the person sitting beside him.
There she was. Kim Yerim, who had her head seemed like, bouncing. Down, then, she would be lifting her head up back again. Then down, it goes again. With both her eyes closed. "Kim-" he was about to wake her up when suddenly he realized, that they've been working too much for today.
Hyunjun really felt- odd with the situation. He didn't know what to do and so, he found himself somewhat- staring at her. She really does have that look. A look of an innocent girl. Pale, puffy cheeks, long eye lashes. Somewhat he did find her... cute.
Unknowingly, he chuckled softly. "What kind of stalker are you, Kim Yerim. Looking for Park Hyunjun's identity behind his back. What's so interesting about him anyway, though." he muttered under his breath. Slowly, he moved her laptop away from her and slowly laid her head on the desk.
Then, he continued with his work.
Not long after, she started moving a bit. She started to hide her hands under her legs. But then she brought her hands close to her chest. Hyunjun just looked at her and blinked. "Unbelievable." he thought. Hyunjun sighed, before he did the thing he never thought he would. He took off his jacket and slowly, he wrapped it around her.
Hyunjun then looked around. Hoping no one noticed it. "How could you be sleeping at 4 pm. It's not even night yet-" he shook a bit before then, he continued with the works.
Park Hyunjun, does care about her, didn't he?
