Notes:  I realllly like the plot and idea of this story.  The story is well written, but compared to the other stories in this fic list, it's not advanced in literary style or development of characters and such.  That said, the villian still incites hate, the OC incites sympathy, and Luhan incites whatever you want lol.

I'm taking a guess that the author is Chinese--there's a lot of Chinese cultural references in this, including in the parent-daughter relationship.  This doesn't affect the story--it makes it unique--but I'm just saying that you might pick up on this if you're Chinese.  Just something to notice when reading.

The chapter lengths aren't very long--it's about average.  I finished reading this in a day (while procrastinating on hw :3)
