It isn't because of a war or zombies, but due to environmental problems and the world becoming a toxic wasteland--so no extreme/explicit violence in this story. There's a bunch of swear words for sure, and if you read Tao's bucket list, you'll see why its rated M (only at the very end though). You read the story in two ways--through Tao's diary entries, and a third party narrator. The difference in perspectives are nice. It's a lighthearted fic, considering that the world is ending. So all in all, it's really about the group going out, completing Tao's bucket list, meeting other people, and burying their friends (yes they die :c ) It's also very sad. Because they die :( :( :( :(. But overall, it's a nice short fic to read.
