Do you mind if I recommend my own fic? It's called EXO Trials. It's completed and since it won't update anymore I wanted to see if I could get it recommended so more people can find it and see it they might like it. It's a scifi Mamverse, with human experimentation and trials, so they have their powers. OT12. It has many elements, friendship, romance, adventure, complex plot and such.
