Taehyung had no clue where he ran off to, but he ended up in a room alone with Seokjin, whom he’d been trying to avoid. Seokjin turned to meet his eyes, looking half drunk. Since Taehyung had nothing better to do, he approached Seokjin cautiously, figuring he might as well try to see what was going on between him and Jungkook.
“Oh, you’re here,” Seokjin said as greeting. “That means Jungkook’s here too, right?” His face took on a sour expression.
Taehyung nodded. “Um…I’m sorry if it seems like I’m being nosy, but can’t you just talk to him like normal? You two are friends, right?”
Seokjin made a face. “You don’t understand. You’re the one who started it–” He cut himself short, pressing his lips together, but Taehyung caught what he said.
“Me? I’m really sorry if I did something I was unaware of, but Jungkook has nothing to do with my actions–”

Taehyung nodded once more, dragging his feet over to where Yoongi was. The latter hadn’t even touched his drink, and Taehyung remembered that Yoongi never really liked drinking in the first place.
“Hey,” Taehyung said as he pulled up a chair next to Yoongi.
Yoongi raised his eyebrows momentarily before his face returned to its neutral expression. Taehyung’s eyes were reflecting all the bright lights in the room and it made him look otherwordly from this angle. Yoongi shook his head. No, Taehyung belonged to Jungkook now. Off limits.
“So…Seokjin said you wanted to approach me or something?” Taehyung said with a gentle smile. “Don’t worry, I don’t bite.”
Yoongi snorted. Of course Taehyung only came up to him because Seokjin asked him to. People never approached Yoongi willingly.
“Y-yeah, since you’re my friend’s boyfriend and all,” Yoongi offered as an excuse.
Taehyung smiled. People usually d
