Mina watched chaeyoung driving away , she couldn’t move for few seconds then she shook her head and went to her room she sat on her bed , her cheeks were red from the kiss

She smiled shyly and looked at momo who was sleeping peacefully , she sighed and laid on her bed , she was staring at the ceiling and the smiled didn’t left her lips , she put her hand on her heart and it was beating so fast … she touched her lips and closed her eyes and slowly she fell asleep .

Few days passed

Finally they opened the restaurant and bought the equipment and hired 2 waitresses and 1 chef to help momo

Jeongyeon sat behind the cash register, luckily there were many customers and people seemed to like momo’s cooking and the ambiance of the restaurant is so cozy

He was staring at a certain girl, momo noticed him from the kitchen … she was glaring on him but jeongyeon was so concentrating on the girl , she was tapping her fingers on the table angrily while cooking

“he is not looking at the girl” mikyung said and stood next to momo , drying the wet plates

“hm?” momo asked nonchalantly , faking that she is not jealous over how he is staring at the long brown haired girl

“he is looking at her guitar” mikyung said and momo looked at the girl, she was playing guitar and writing some notes over her notebook

She looked back at jeongyeon and noticed how he was moving his fingers along with her , like he is playing on an invisible guitar

“he used to play guitar ,even teach some kids but in a specific period we got broke and we sold many things , one of them was his guitar , since that time he didn’t play “ mikyung said looking at her brother sadly

“he sacrificed many things in his life “ she added

Momo yelped and looked back at him and he was looking down sadly , then his eyes met hers and he flashed a bright smile at her but she was looking at him intensely as her heart was beating so fast , she smiled back and looked down at what she was doing

Chaeyoung was sitting next to junu on a table and she was teasing him while he was busy playing on his phone , while mina was helping momo in the kitchen , the restaurant was somehow empty with just 4 customers

2 black cars parked in front of it and 2 guys get out of it , they opened the door of one man , he was somehow tall wearing a black suit , his gaze was intense and sharp that can make the strongest men piss their pants

He ed his jacket and stepped inside the restaurant

“isn’t that” sana the new waiter said

“the ministry of defense” dahyun added with shocked expression

Jeongyeon looked at him and yelped … he stood up and walked to him

He bowed 90˚ to him “sir?”

But he was looking at specific girl , chaeyoung got up and her lips were slightly parted

“appa” she said and walked to him

“appa? She said appa?” junu said to mina who was looking at the scene in front of her

“these are the people you are close to them?” her dad said a bit yelling catching the attention of everyone in the restaurant

“nae appa , they are my friends “

“why you are not helping your mom?”

“I told you I don’t like her job !” she said but a loud smack resounded down the restaurant as chaeyoung’s dad slapped her in front everyone not once but twice , on the same cheek .

Jeongyeon stepped closer but the two bodyguards glared at him

“jeongyeon no” momo said under her breath but mikyung heard her

Chaeyoung frowned to prevent her tears from falling and looked down

“I always feel ashamed that I have a daughter like you , stay like this useless with these kinds of people “

“EXCUSE ME ! but I think you have to protect us and respect us not talk like this about us!” mikyung fired and he glared at her

“Your daughter is the most precious girl I knew ! she is a real friend and like sister to me , you should be proud not ashamed… sir “ jeongyeon added

The minister looked at chaeyoung from her head to her toes and she was looking down , gritting on her teeth and clenching her fist

He shook his head and left the restaurant

Chaeyoung stayed in her place for few seconds and left to her car

“Follow her” jeongyeon said to mina and she already took off her apron and followed the short haired girl , she was fast enough to manage and sit next to her

“MINA LEAVE ME ALONE!” chaeyoung yelled

“I WON’T!” mina yelled back and put her seatbelt on

Chaeyoung drove off fast, passing between cars in her sport car , mina was a bit scared but chaeyoung was angry and sad

Meanwhile the old owner of the restaurant came

“my restaurant is more beautiful now haha” he said as he shook hands with jeongyeon and momo was standing next to him smiling happily

“the reason I am here is to invite to my wedding , it’s a small wedding actually and I really wish you can come , both of you “

Jeongyeon touched his nape “I don’t know”

“Aeeey come on! I only will get married once haha and please momo-ssi try to convince him “

Jeongyeon looked at momo and she looked back, she shrugged her shoulders

“do you want to go?” he asked

“nae why not” she said , he smiled and nodded

“aww so cute this is how I treat my wife then haha, I will tell you the address in a message text” the guy said and jeongyeon turned red they
