On Wednesday, during lunch break, Jaeha was meeting Jungkook outside of the campus. Her best friend had sent her a message a few hours ago ordering her to come meet him at a fastfood place near the university without much explanation. She gladly obeyed and it turned out he had only wanted to see her and eat fastfood, which she was completely fine with. They enjoyed their meal and talked about their daily lives, though he mostly asked her questions about the life at home. He wanted to make sure there was no problem with Youngjae and he even repeated her about fifty times she could come to his place whenever she wanted to.

“We actually don’t see each other much,” she said. “We’re both busy on your side. So it’s fine.”

He seemed to believe her since he didn’t ask her more questions after that answer. They ordered their desserts last, since they both wanted ice-cream and didn’t order before in case it would all be melted, and once they reached the checkout, her phone rang. She frowned upon seeing her father’s name written on the screen and quickly picked up.

“Yes?”

“Hi, Jaeha. It’s me, your father. Am I bothering you?”

“No, not at all.”

“Alright. I’ve got a question for you. I’ll be in town in a few hours, I’ve got one meeting and then I’ll have spare time. Do you want us to meet? I thought we could go bowling if you don’t have classes.”

She opened her eyes wide. She wanted to go bowling with her father, classes suddenly didn’t matter.

“I don’t have classes,” she openly lied. “We can meet!”

“Great! Perfect! I’ll be with Mark by the way, if it doesn’t bother you.”

“It’s fine. I’ll be with Jungkook anyway.”

“Alright! Bring whoever you want! I’ll text you once I’m done with my appointment.”

“Okay.”

“See you, Jae.”

“Yep, see you.”

She hung up and looked up to her best friend who had been listening.

“We’re going bowling with my father and his boyfriend.”

“So that’s why you suddenly don’t have classes anymore, I get it,” Jungkook playfully elbowed her in the side.

She smiled back and placed her order once their turn came. They went back to their seats with their ice-creams in hand and took their sweet time now that they didn’t have to hurry to be on time to their next classes anymore. The awaited text message came two hours later and they hurried to the nearest subway station, decided it would be the fastest way to reach the bowling.

There, they met with her father and Mark inside the bowling place. It didn’t seem like there was any paparazzi, which was truly a relief for Jaeha. She quickly greeted them and once Jinyoung saw Jungkook he gasped.

“My God! Jeon Jungkook! I would have never recognized you!”

“Hi uncle,” smiled Jungkook.

“You’ve grown so tall and handsome!”

Jungkook blushed a bit and let Jinyoung introduced him to Mark he was meeting for the first time.

“He is Jaeha’s best friend. They met when they were kids and have been stuck by the hips since then.”

“Nice to meet you, Jungkook.”

“Same goes for me.”

They soon registered for a track, and the guy behind the counter freaked out upon seeing Jinyoung. The latter handled the situation in a very professional way, he remained calm and smiley and he even accepted to sign an autograph so that they would be quickly free and could play. They all quickly moved to the next room where the bowling shoes were and while all the boys were complaining about it being ugly, Jaeha actually enjoyed her look. She found bowling shoes really stylish strangely enough and even took a picture of herself and her best friend she immediately shared on social medias.

Then, they finally got to the track and started choosing their balls. They went with the heavier one and while Jaeha was contemplating which one to chose, Jungkook helped her and brought the lightest one.

“Don’t waste your time looking for the right one, we all know you won’t even be able to lift the lightest one correctly.”

She kicked him in the chin yet, she indeed took the ball he presented to her.

“Alright, do we play individually or do we team up?” Jinyoung asked.

“Let’s team up,” Jungkook answered first. “I’ll play with Jaeha to make sure she doesn’t have the worst score as possible and doesn’t get mad about it.”

“Yah! I’m not like that!”

“You’re totally like that.”

“The losers pay at the end,” Mark suddenly offered, triggering the best-friend duo competitiveness.

“I’m a really good player,” Jungkook defended himself.

“So am I,” Mark laughed lightly.

“He plays really well, indeed,” Jinyoung added.

“Alright, so it’s me and Jaeha versus you two.”

“Fine!”

Jungkook grabbed his best-friend’s arm and dragged her a few meters away.

“We’re not losing against your father and his boyfriend. I’m not losing against anyone at bowling, okay? You have to play well.”

“I’m a good player!”

“No you’re not, let’s be honest.” She sent him a blasé/offended look. “I’m counting on you, if we lose I’ll say it’s your fault.”

“We won’t lose, they must have said Mark was good just to put us under pressure. Plus he is older than us, his back or arms must be hurting. Relax dude, we’re fine,” Jaeha said, feeling confident about her poor skills.

Out of respect for their “elders” Jaeha and Jungkook let them play first, and Jinyoung threw the first ball. He hit two pins only, which had Jaeha feeling even more confident. However Mark was not having it.

“See,” he told him. “I told you you should have brought more comfy clothes. Who wears slacks and a shirt to go bowling?”

“My outfit is fine. It’s been a long time since I’ve last played, let me enough time to warm up, alright?”

Mark sighed, feeling extremely competitive, and threw the second ball, hitting a perfect strike which made Jungkook frowned.

“It… it was luck, probably,” Jaeha said, not sounding convincing at all.

Jungkook didn’t answer and played first. He stuck a very professional pose and hit a strike too. Then he immediately went back to her side to coach her on how to hit the most pins as possible.

“Come on, you have to hit three pins minimum, you can do it, right? You’re not that bad,” he hyped her.

With a smile, she threw the ball but it went straight to the gutter. She mentally cursed at herself, and so did Jungkook, except he did it out loud. While the team of old people played the second turn, Jungkook explained his techniques again, but she barely listened to him, which annoyed him even more. He turned into a monster when it came to sport and her not making a single point really hurt his pride.

Despite his effort, she kept loosing or marking very few points. He kept on insulting her, which made her mad and then they found themselves growing at each other to the point that they didn’t even remember why they were mad in the first place. It was entertaining for the couple to watch and hear them. Of course they were not worried, especially not Jinyoung, he knew how they acted together, they were like Tom and Jerry, they were not actually fighting.

When Jungkook gave up on his explanation, Mark took his place and took his time to show Jaeha his technique. Unlike the younger man, he took his time and actually showed her how to do. She attentively listened to him and perfectly copied each of his gestures. Yet she didn’t manage to hit a strike but at least, she managed to hit a few pins which gave her confidence again.

In the end they still lost, which pissed Jungkook off who repeated her a hundred times he was never going to play bowling with her again and he let her pay for everyone, claiming it was her defeat not his. She let him sulk in his corner and paid without complains.

“Let’s play again one day,” Mark proposed. “I’ll play with Jaeha and Jungkook you’ll play with Jinyoung, alright?”

Jungkook hesitated.

“Okay, deal.”

“You shouldn’t underestimate me,” Jaeha assured. “I may have got hidden talents.”

“No, you don’t have such thing as hidden talent, you have no talent at all!”

“Let’s go play basketball next time Jeon Jungkook! I’ll freaking get you this time!”

“Yeah, alright, let’s play basketball too! I don’t care! I’ll win for sure!”

“Yeah? You sure? I’ll play with Mark too, you’ll see! Be ready, dude! I’ll make you swallow the ball!”

“Fight me.”

“With pleasure,” she scolded back at him with fake hatred and left the place, the rest of them following her closely.

“It looks like you’ve found yourself a new sport partner,” Jinyoung told his daughter with a proud smile on his face.

“Mark, you should train a lot so that we won’t lose against this bunny hear.”

“Got it,” Mark said. “I’ll try hard, don’t worry.”

They greeted one another, though they promised to meet again very soon to play a rematch – of course it was Jungkook who proposed the deal and Mark couldn’t refuse such proposition. Then Jungkook went home separately and Jinyoung and Mark drove Jaeha back home. They dropped her in front of the gates of the residence and she quickly went back home after greeting them warmly.

In the living room she met with her dad sitting on the sofa with Youngjae by his side. They smiled at her and Youngjae asked how her day went.

“Did you have fun at the bowling?” asked Jaebum with a slight smirk.

“How… how did you know?”

“I know everything, Jae. I’m your dad, remember?”

“Have you seen the picture I posted on Instagram?” Jaebum shrugged off. “Damn...”

“Next time try to avoid missing classes to have fun with your best friend, alright?”

“Alright,” she sighed and went into her bedroom.

“She skipped classes?” asked Youngjae.

“Yes, but I knew about it, that’s why I’m letting her go this time.”

“How come you knew?”

“Jinyoung sent me a message in the morning, asking me not to get mad if Jaeha was skipping classes. She was with him, they went out together. Of course I can’t get mad.”

“Oh, that’s cute,” complimented Youngjae with a smile.

Jaebum acquiesced with a nod. Of course he couldn’t prevent his daughter from meeting with her father, even if it implied missing a few hours of school. Because he knew Jinyoung brought more happiness to Jaeha than school did.

Here's another chapter. This time it's about Markjin and Jaeha, with a scoop of Jungkook. This was inspired by this GOT7 ing episode where the member go bowling, I just love this ep so much I had to do something about it. 

Concerning what's happening with Yugyeom, I won't answer in the comments or now, you'll have the answer next chapter. I don't want to spoil anything, I hope you understand that ^.^
