2.
My Guardian DemonIt wasn’t.
A few days later, Nayoung was walking through the college grounds with Eunwoo, Siyeon, and Minkyung when two people appeared in front of them. The way a bright light blinded the four of them showed that the two were angels.
“Listen here, you four.” The first girl said.
“Who the heck are you?” Eunwoo asked.
“I’m Sejeong, this is Chungha.” The first girl said. “We’ve been alerted to a lot of demonic activity in the area, and we’re here to stop you.”
“What do you mean? We’re just a group of normal girls.” Siyeon frowned, trying to fool the two.
“You can’t trick us. I know who she is.” Sejeong pointed at Nayoung.
“I don’t know you.” Nayoung said.
Suddenly, the other girl, Chungha, reached out and touched Nayoung’s arm, causing Nayoung to have a sudden flash of memories in her head of her time in heaven. She fell to her knees and groaned from the pain.
“Im Nayoung, you fell from heaven. We worked together shortly.” Sejeong said. “Now, you all need to clear off back to where you came from.”
“Nayoung can’t leave.” A voice said from behind them.
Eunwoo, Siyeon, and Minkyung turned around. Nayoung was still on her knees, recovering from the pain, but she knew it was Jieqiong.
“What do you mean?” Sejeong frowned. “She has to. And who are you?”
“She’s my guardian demon, because somebody in heaven messed up and assigned her to me. Nayoung can’t leave, because I would die without her.” Jieqiong said.
“I told you about this case, you know.” Chungha mumbled to Sejeong.
Sejeong looked a little confused, before sighing. “Alright, Nayoung stays, but what about the other three?”
“We’re just Nayoung’s friends.” Minkyung said.
“She disappeared one day, so we came to find her.” Eunwoo said. “Can’t we stay?”
Sejeong shook her head. “I’m going to open a portal now, and you three need to go.”
The three groaned like kids that had been caught doing something they shouldn’t have.
Sejeong mumbled something, before a portal appeared.
“In you go.” Sejeong said.
“We’ll see you later, Nayoung.” Eunwoo mumbled as she walked past.
The three stepped into the portal before it closed and they were gone.
“We’re watching you, Nayoung.” Sejeong said, before her and Chungha both disappeared.
Jieqiong knelt down next to Nayoung.
“Are you okay?” Jieqiong asked, looking at Nayoung who still looked a little in pain.
“I… I think so.” Nayoung muttered. “They must’ve been really powerful angels, or something.”
“Nayoung, do that thing where you go into my head, I’m taking you back to our room and I don’t think I could carry you.” Jieqiong said.
Nayoung just nodded, before she disappeared and went into Jieqiong’s mind.
Jieqiong walked back to their room, before pointing to the bed.
Nayoung appeared in front of her, lying on the bed.
“You’re staying in bed. I’m your guardian now.” Jieqiong said, laughing before suddenly stopping and staring at Nayoung’s arm.
“What?” Nayoung frowned, lifting
