She woke up in the familiar bed, in the familiar room. She smiled loving the heat of the sun that shined through the curtains, she loved the warmth she felt. She loved the beautiful music the birds were chirping. The songs she thought they memorized so well. She had thought this until he told her that they just play what they feel.

The smile quickly disappeared. Memories had begun to flood back. Its been a year. A year and the pain is still there, numbing her body. Removing all her thoughts until that was all that was left. She looked into the mirror. Her eyes were puffy, red. A reminder of how she spent her previous night crying until she had fallen asleep. 

She looked down at her wrist, the familiar handwriting sprawled across it. Don't Forget Our Forever. 

I'll never forget, she thought as she fell down to the carpeted floor. She clutched her knees to her chest. A soft sob came out of her as tears started to fall down her face. She continued to to whisper "I'll never forget". A soft mantra that she continued to repeat to herself.
