ith the several successes of their artists and groups as a whole, SM ENTERTAINMENT's CEO Lee Sooman decided to take a new step ahead and create their first CoEd project the "Half Moon Project". Quiet similar to SM Rookies but instead, The Half moon project will debut 2 groups each at the same time "STARLIGHT" & "HYPERION". Starlight being a 7-membered girl group and Hyperion being a 7-membered boy group. Alhtough not much had been the project, it is expected to be SM's Best incoming project.
Half Moon meaning that both groups can never become a whole without each other and thus with them apart, they are half moons.
