Jinyoung saw Jungkook talking to Nayeon and walked towards them.

"Um, Jungkook-ah ,I think Jimin was looking for you" He lied, hoping to get some time alone with Nayeon.

Nayeon was oblivious to their conversation,she couldn't stop crying. 

Jungkook looked at her with concern

"It's okay, I'll take care of her"

Reluctantly,Jungkook said bye to Nayeon,who could only let out a small wave.

Jinyoung bend down to her height ,and pushed her hair back. He cupped her face with his warm hands,"Nayeon-ah,hajima. Stop crying"

But she couldn't stop. All the late nights,all the years of training,all the tears when 6mix couldn't debut,it all finally paid off. She finally won a daesang.

"Fine, let's go somewhere else" He grabbed her hand,and walked out of the room.

They sneaked out the door "Jinyoung, what about my manager?"

"all the JYP managers went out for a drink,they always do that after MAMA,there's a popular bar somewhere nearby"

she tightened her grip on his hand. "so where are we going?"

they had reached a staircase."let's sit down here" Jinyoung answered

"I see you've stopped crying" he continued "You don't look pretty when you cry"

Nayeon made a face at him ,"I think you know me well enough to know that I don't care about looking pretty all the time,that's what attracts people to me"

"who exactly have you been attracting?"

"people"

"Jungkook?" Jinyoung asked with a calm voice.He tried his hardest not to let his nervousness show. If she started liking Jungkook then there's nothing he could do about it. He had his chance,but he let his fears consume him. All this while he felt like the most important thing was his image,and her image. But that might leave him with regrets. Life was too short,he'd already waited for 5 years,he couldn't imagine losing her now.

Nayeon's eyes widened

She cracked a grin,and then started laughing "Jungkook???"

"omg you think Jungkook likes me?" she continued "or do you think I like him? "

Jinyoung rolled his eyes. It was nearly impossible to get a serious answer from Nayeon at times,"well do you?" he asked anyway

"hahaha he's a little baby Jinyoung" she continued "I've been shipping him with Tzuyu"'

Jinyoung sighed ,Nayeon and her shipping.

"do they actually like each other,or are you being delusional as you were with Jihyo and JB?" Jinyoung asked,remembering how during their trainee days Nayeon would try to make Jihyo and JB interact because she though they were a good fit

Nayeon grumbled,"that was one time,I've never been wrong after that"

"oh really?" Jinyoung asked sarcastically,he was ready to remind her of all the times she had been wrong

"fine,I've been wrong a few times" she answered reluctantly 

he laughed loudly. Nayeon looked at him,and remebered all their days as trainees back when they used to talk like this all the time

"what happened to us?" she asked him. She looked straight into his eyes. She could see his smile fading

"what?"

"you know what,why did you start ignoring me?" she asked,suddenly getting angry. She knew that he was busy but ever since he debuted he's been acting like she was invisible.

"it's......complicated" Jinyoung answered not meeting her eyes

"No,you're going to tell me the truth" she said moving closer to him. 

"sometimes you act like you've never seen me before.But here you are still holding my hand,so what is it Jinyoung?" 

Jinyoung looked down at his hands that were tightly holding on to hers. He realized that he had never really let go of her.For the first time in years he looked into her eyes.He moved his head closer to hers and closed the distance between them

Nayeon was taken aback. She didn't know what she was expecting when she asked him that,but it definitely wasn't this.His lips moved against hers and she closed her eyes and relaxed into the kiss and before she knew it her hands were on his neck.

Jinyoung promised to remember that night forever. He wanted to remember every detail like how Nayeon had on a white dress,and she had her hair short. How she smiled into the kiss,or how she wrapped her hands around his neck,or how his hands went to her waist.He memorized everything.

It was what they'd been waiting for ,for 5 years. And it was worth it.

They seperated slowly. 

"I was right" Nayeon said softly. Her hands still wrapped around his neck,their forheads were touching.

"about what?" Jinyoung's voice asked with a deep voice

"about you liking me"

"well do you like me?"

"is that even a question after what we just did" She replied to him with a smile

Meanwhile Suga and Jihyo were hiding behind a wall so that Jinyoung and Nayeon wouldn't spot them. Yoongi said that he'd found a place where they could talk in private,but it turned out that the other couple had beat them to it

"you had a thing with JB?" he whispered at her

"after all that just happened,that's what you care about?" she asked with a shocked face,"they just.....kissed,and you want to talk about JB?"

"fine,don't tell me" Yoongi grumbled

"I think we should give them some privacy" Jihyo said

"I've been saying that since the moment we got here,you're the one who wanted to hear what they were saying"

"shh,she cannot find out I was here" Jihyo continued "knowing Nayeon she'll probably try to keep it a secret for a week,and then eventually spill everything"

"And..." Yoongi asked looking at his partner 

"I need to look like I'm shocked"

"well you did train as an actress for 7 years,you should be able to pull it off" Nayeon's voice yelled from the other side of the wall

"Jihyo,Yoongi oppa we know you're there"
