Background Info

 

Jinwoo grew up seeing his older sisters fangirl over IDOL groups like TVXQ, Super Junior and SS501. He wondered why theyy liked guys who sing but one day he saw 1TYM perform on TV and was drawn to their charisma. He wanted to be cool like 1TYM and started imitating idols rapping. at the age of 12 he was scouted by SM entertainment but his parents declined the offer as they wanted Jinwoo to study. When Jinwoo was 15, he passed the TOEIC test with flying colors. He started to live by himself in a dorm at the age of 14 near his school in seoul. Since the fees there were high, Jinwoo's parents moved him to a smaller dorm with little facililties. Jinwoo wrotes song to relieve stress and started featuring for small artisst to earn pocket money. Jinwoo became a go to featuring artist for many artists and when he was 16 through a series of events became a trainee in black label with the other members becoming a rapper.. After hearing jinwoo sing, KUSH told jinwoo to practice his vocals more than his rapping.
