Haru woke up to the beeping sound of the machine located right next to her. She looked around and gasped. What she saw was seven men that were staring at her. Half of their faces were covered with scarf. The one that intimidated her was their eyes. Every one of them had different kind of eye colours. "You're awake? How do you feel?" The one with grey irises asked her. Based on the voice, she recognised it as Kai's. Moments later, she frowned. They were EXO; she knew that, but weren't they supposed to be mannequins during daylight? She ignored his questions but asked him back instead. "Aren't you guys supposed to be mannequins right now? It's not even dusk." Haru asked with skeptical. She faced the others. "Did you guys lied to me?" She assumed because she swear if they putted this prank on her until she was almost died, they'll-- "No! I swear-- We swear we didn't lied to you!" The one with purple irises, which belonged to Chanyeol, denied in panic. His hands were swinging in the air as a denying gesture. Haru scoffed, "Enough. Just yesterday you told me that you can't move during daylight. But now, what? I see that you guys can move freely now. Congrats." The hint of sarcasm was in her statement. The guy with red eyes interrupted, "Shut up. We, ourselves also does not know why we can move right now so stop being a and listen up. I swear if you spouts out nonsense again I'll kill you." Haru almost flinched as she caught his blazing gaze. His red eyes looked murderous enough for her to shut . Kai glared at him, "Baekhyun, mind you words." He calmly said. Haru sensed the sterness in his voice. "Kai, the last time I checked, I'm older than you." "And the last time I checked, I already told you to watch your mouth." The air in the room thickened as the two of them continued to murder each other with their eyes. Suddenly, Kai scoffed. "Wow, already planned to kill me in your head?" Everyone in the room gasped. Crap, I almost forgot he can read minds.. , Haru thought, panicked. They wouldn't want to kill each other, right? , she thought again. Kai turned to face her and shook his head. Haru felt her breath caught up in . "I don't want to kill anyone, Princess." He said in a lazy tone, and turned his face towards Baekhyun. Here comes another Princess thingy, she thought. "At least, I keep my anger in check. I'm not like that certain person." He continued. Haru swear that she almost saw his smirk even though half of his face were covered. "Enough, the two of you. There's no point in your argument. Furthermore, you should behave in front of our Princess." The voice I recognised as Suho's, reprimanded them and sighed. This time, is was Baekhyun's turn to scoff. "I really don't believe that she is our Princess. Ever since we found her, she keep giving us troubles." "She's not the reason why we got troubles! You, yourself knew that he is at fault about the fire! Haru had nothing to do with that!" Kai argued. His voice raised up higher."But you knew that she had something to do with him in the past!" Baekhyun eyes glowed in anger. He? Who's he? And I'm connected to him? In the past? Before she could ask, a nurse barged into the room. "Excuse me, this is hospital. I appreciate it if you control your voices. I afraid that you would disturb other patience. Furthermore, the visiting hour has ended, you may leave the patience for us to take care or one of you can stay with her for the night." With that, the nurse left. She was probably annoyed with their voices booming in the hospital hall even though the door was closed. Haru admitted it, they were quite loud just now. "That's our cue to leave guys. Let's go." The one with yellow eyes, Chen poked Suho on his shoulder after saying that. Suho sighed, "I hate to say this, but one of us should stay with her for tonight. Just in case something might happened." "I don't see the importance of keeping her safe. What a burden." Baekhyun scowled, still wanted to add oil to fire. Haru was a little bit offended by that.
