Chapter 1 : I'm Sorry, I'm Confused. 

 

"You mean to tell me those dolls are alive?!" One of her housemate claimed in obvious shock. Haru nodded and sighed. Haru herself was also utterly confused about the whole situation. After her her whole encounter with the mannequins at the mall that night, she didn't dare to take the night shift anymore. It was not about the mannequins that scared her, it was about how the hell they can move so humanly that scared her down to her spine. Haru had met tons of lifeless mannequins in her life, so the facts about she can hear them talk, whisper into her ears didn't bother her at all. They didn't even scared her because they did not move and their lips did not move and their hands and legs did not move. Even their eyes stayed emotionless! "They just happened to be alive, I guess? Or.. that was just a prank? You know there are some random tv shows and they're always put pranks in malls! Haru, you don't have to be worried about this." Her housemate, Clara assured her. But, it did not effect her that much. Haru shook her head. "Clara, the man who I told you did touch my hand, was seriously a carbon copy of the mannequin outside of the Skechers! How could a man resembles a doll so much? I mean, it's not that he's a celebrity or what, Clara.." Haru shuddered at the thought of the man who was holding her wrist that night. She remembered that night when her met the mannequins. They were staring at her. Just at the thought of them gave her an eerie feeling. And she still remembered what they told her. Haru knew enough to not tell her friends about the things the mannequins told her before. She didn't want any ruckus at the mall. Soon, Haru was able to see another man after another coming out of the store room. She counted and totalled them all. There were seven of them Oh my god. Who are they? ---Wait a minute. The one who held her just now somehow looked familiar. She gasped and turned to him. " Y-you're the m-mannequin that.." Her question trailed off, incompleted. But when the man nodded his head, Haru knew that was the answer of her question earlier. But Haru was scared, the thought of them being some serial killers sent shivers to her body. Maybe he was pretending to be a mannequin and want to kill someone here and that was her mistake to interrupt their meeting and now they want to kill her! She took a step back to leave when the man in front of her stop her by saying, "Please, don't be scared. We're not some serial killers you were thinking." The man chuckl
