Heera stared intently at the pool of water in the sink. She stared at her reflection, her mind was empty but her heart was screaming, she didn't understand what it said. "Sorry Heera, I can't see you anytime this week, we have upcoming schedules, I'll be free next week" She remembered Yoongi said before he drove away. She didn't want to agree with him, she wanted to demand attention, but she can't. She did what she always do, she smiled and agreed. If that's what he wants. She didn't understand why it was such a big deal this time, she normally just goes with it. She felt lonely. She reached for a white colored jar in the cupboard and poured everything out in the sink. "Huh, it's still the same." She returned the now transparent jar back to the cupboard. Heera sighed, "What can I do."  She unplugged the drain and turned the faucet on. She watched everything go down the drain. She felt nauseous, she plopped on the couch and checked her phone. No new messages. No email. No schedules. Nothing. No daycares to visit today. No one to hang out with. She wished days like these just flew by quick. She reached for the remote and browsed through the channels until she drifted off to sleep.

Heera was awakened by the doorbell and her phone ringing. She stood up immediately causing her to feel dizzy, despite this, she ran towards the door and opened. "Noona!" Haejin hugged her waist. Standing behind him was his mother. "Oh, hello." Heera sighed, they weren't who she expected. "I'm sorry Heera, I know it's your off today, but Haejin kept asking for you, he didn't want to go the daycare again" Haejin's mother said. "Oh! Don't worry! It's not like this is the first time. I'm glad you came, really!" She nudged the lady to come inside. They often came together when Haejin didn't want to go to the daycare, usually when Haejin is troubled by something, like when he had a fight with a fellow toddler. "Have you eaten?" Haejin's mother placed her bag down. Heera shook her head. They were already this close to each other. Haejin's mother sighed "Why can't you take care of yourself more? You take care of these kids but you keep forgetting yourself" she nagged. "There you go again, I was feeling nauseous, okay?" She played with Haejin's fingers. "Noona, why awe you sad?" Heera patted Haejin's head. Kids see through people well. "I'm not sad, Haejin." She smiled at him "But yow face wooks wayk thish" Haejin pulled his face down to make it seem like he's sad. "That's because you didn't go to the daycare again" she pouted. Haejin poked her pouted lips and giggled, Heera pinched his cheeks "Why? did you had a fight with a friend again?" Haejin glanced at his mother who was cooking and back at her. "I won't tewl you!" Haejin laughed and ran away from her. There he goes again. "Haejinah~" she called out. This headache's not gonna go away soon. She laid back on the couch again and checked her phone. Still no messages or anything. "Noona, let's pwayyy!!" Haejin was pulling her arm. She sat up "Okay, but first, you need to tell me why didn't you go today" she held his hands. "Umm, it's our secwet owkay, eomma towld me it's a secwet." Haejin placed a finger on his lips. They both looked at Haejin's mother who was still busy cooking. "Sure, it's our secret" Heera whispered. "Eomma wans to shee you because she and I miss you awlweady. She said, I miss Heewa alweady" the boy whispered. Heera frowned, Haejin missed school because of that? She knew Haejin wasn't lying. She knew when he's not telling the truth. 

"Come on, the food is ready!" Heera followed the voice in the kitchen. They all sat down and ate quietly, this food again, Haejin's mother would always cook this, it was her favorite when she was still a kid. The food was almost similar, except it had a different feeling. She remembered eating this food when she was upset, her mother would cook this and everything will feel better. Eating this again gave a different feeling, she felt worse, she was lonely. She felt her tummy churn, she felt the food balling up in , she stood up abruptly and ran towards the bathroom. She vomited. She vomited everything out. Her headache worsened. She felt really nauseous. She couldn't take it anymore, she burst out in tears, everything was painful. She sat on the bathroom floor crying. "Heera! What happened??!" Haejin's mom came rushing to calm her down. "Why are you crying? Tell me." She embraced Heera and patted her head. "Heera you're burning up!" She tried to make Heera look at her. Heera moved away and stood up, she stepped out of the bathroom. Haejin's mom followed her "Would you please tell me what's wrong?" She placed a hand on Heera's back but Heera nudged it away. "You really wanna know why?" She faced her "Okay, I'll tell you! It's because of you!" She raised her voice "Stop using Haejin as an excuse to see me, Stop acting like nothing ever happened, Stop trying to mend what you already broke!" Heera's tears didn't stop "Stop trying to make things look like they're fine. Stop this. Just stop." She pleaded. "Heera, I am not using Haejin, I came here because I'm worried. I came here because I miss you, Heera. I'm sorry." She tried to get closer. "NO YOU DONT!" Heera swatted her hands away "YOU DONT MISS ME! Stop confusing feeling guilty and missing someone, can you just please... please get out of my life already?" She wiped her tears. "I am still your Mother, Heera! I know I have been the worst mom for you but I am still your mother! You can't change that." Haejin's mom was already crying. "You stopped being my mom after you left me. Would a mother leave her child after her father leaves?" She felt superior over this lady, she was right. "I'm sorry, I just couldn't bare it that time. I felt so--" Heera cut her off, "What? You felt so alone? You said you couldn't stand seeing my father's face in me, that I look too much like my father, that's what you said before leaving me. What about me? What about a child who lost both her parents and blamed herself for everything? I was still a ing child!" Heera poured out to her. "Then- then I met this child, I wondered why I felt such deep connection to him, why I adore him so much than other kids I've handled, why It didn't feel like a duty to take care of him, and guess what? It was because we had the same blood! You already had a child! You already had a new family without me! You didn't contact me for years! And the only time you did was after you failed to pick up your son in the daycare! After you see me standing in front of your door with your son!" She cried out, she felt weak, she was too vulnerable, she finally said it. "Heera, I-I'm sorry, for everything.. for not being a mother.. I'm sorry.." she embraced Heera, she cried with her, she couldn't agree more. "I love Haejin, please take care of him, please be a better mom, show him affection, don't let him feel the same as me, then.. I can forgive you" Heera didn't move away from the hug, she was breathing heavily.
