The grip tightens.

It feels almost as if he’s choking, the hold over him so strong and indefinably powerful. Never once did Jimin think that he would find himself at the current point he was at the moment.
There were still promises left unkept and nights spent unslept since the day he left and every tangible and rational thought ceased to process functionally through Jimin’s mind.

It was all his fault.

Had he not been so ing stupid, then none of this would have ever happened. He wouldn’t be alone on the very same rooftop that he had been shown by the ghost of his past, left to ponder on the effects of one drunken night spent in a cheap hotel room, with someone other than who he was supposed to be with.
If only he had just said no and went to visit him like he had promised to do. If only he answered his phone when it rang for the fifth time that evening.
Then, maybe his feet wouldn’t be dangling dangerously off from the ledge as he stared hundreds of feet past his bright red converse, to the busy city street below, the hold of his hands on the edge of the brick roof the only thing keeping him from falling.
