She is the maknae of all bands in SM Town. The youngest of them all.

And despite of what people thinks about the advantages of a maknae, she understood that the role is never be an easy one.

Because, unlike others, Maknae plays a certain role in the group.

They are people magnets, regardless there are unnies and hyungs that are the faces of the groups.

They are popularity markers, in particular among netizens, the more different and unique the maknae is, the more often the group will make the news.

That's why she was nervous when the manager informed her that she was the magnae. She once turned to her unnie, but Jessica was never a maknae, so she could only shrugged and hugged her most of the times.

The first months of her maknae’s life, she had the most miserable time of her young life.

Until she met them. Well, met her to be precised. Although she forgot when she first met him, since he  was always around when she was in town.

She was one of the first maknaes in SM Town. The first of the girl. And the kindest of them all.

She was very shy with her unnies’ group members, because she respected them so much. But since she learned that she was a maknae too, she  had been her constant supporter, a shoulder to cry on.

‘I have been the youngest for almost all my life, so I know what it feels to have somebody who understand the difficulty being the youngest.’
