vimaru: deceased age 18

vimaru, better known as maru, was a delinquent who died twelve years ago in a traffic accident. he was a lone wolf, a street rat who stole from gas stations when he was alive and is now paying the price for his actions by relaying messages between the spirit world and living world for mr. death. he actually hates everything and just wants to pass on but still has eighteen years left of moping around hoyang and thinking about what he's done (@death wyd). death offered him the job of aiding some high school kids on a mission to prevent the dual worlds from collapsing, in return giving his freedom to finally move on from ghost-dom. maru likes to play pranks on unsuspecting victims in his free time.

janyu: deceased age 19

janyu is another ghost from hoyang who is yet to pass onto the next realm. he died from drug abuse and was pretty much the only kid of his kind in hoyang. he only had a few friends and even they had much more of a moral compass than he did. he causes a lot of trouble around the land of the living, so death has to keep extending his time as a ghost as punishment. even if he desperately wants to get out of the place that he claimed treated him horribly, he still causes trouble and further extends his time as a ghost in hoyang. janyu is a pretty emo kid ngl. he likes to scare people by flying past them or going through them to create something of a shiver down their spines.

death (ii)

death is... where do i even start?? he's a sarcastic head who hates his job with a passion and just wants a new successor already so he can quit and rest in his quiet pile of ashes in peace... no one has ever seen his face because, obviously, death has no specific face. he's actually the second successor to this job, hence death ii. death i tricked him into taking the job and now he hates everyone and everything and is actually done with everyone's . like...he actually hates everything....especially maru lmao. he oversees the underworld and gives temporary ghost leases (tbd in the cs) and honestly just wants to kill himself a million times

go kiyeon: 17, junior

kiyeon is the young heir to a popular seafood restaurant near the ports, earning her the nickname, "mulgogi." her entire existence is made for the high school swim team, which she claims is her one and only passion (which is a lie, tall boys with hot voices are also her passion). she really likes to eat. like no joke she would ask what's for dinner while she's eating a sandwich and then wake up at 12am to steal 2-3 bags of chips to eat in bed while she catches up on her kpop gossip. kiyeon is a basic so it's no secret that's she's a popular figure around eden and would probably sell her friends for a potato chip.
