- Chapter 32 -

Sunny kept her promise to brought Taeyeon to the park near the Mall. Sunny pushed Taeyeon's wheelchair and enjoying the scenery in front of them. After 10 minutes Taeyeon asked Sunny to found a place where Sunny could sit, she knew that Sunny must be tired. Sunny refused it, but Taeyeon insisted. She even said that she was hungry and wanted to eat something. Sunny gave in and found a good spot for them, she brought Taeyeon to that place and told Taeyeon to wait there because she would buy some food for them.

Taeyeon was looking around the park, she felt relax there, she looked up to the sky while closing her eyes. She inhaled the fresh air there and smiled, just then a certain someone passed by in front of her. That person was busy talking in to her phone but somehow Taeyeon thought that the voice sounded familiar. Taeyeon opened her eyes and saw the person's back, Taeyeon didn't know why but she pushed her wheelchair and following that person. When she finally came closer she heard her voice again and when she heard her laughed she knew it.

'No way it can't be?!!' Taeyeon thought and gasped.

She pushed her wheelchair faster with difficulty. At that time Sunny was back to their spot with the food but she couldn't find Taeyeon. Sunny called her name but she got no answer. Panic, Sunny started walked around to find Taeyeon, she shouted her name. Sunny then spotted Taeyeon whom chasing someone with her wheelchair. Sunny followed her, when she was getting closer she saw that Taeyeon tried to stood up and tapped someone's shoulder. That person turned her body and gasped, Sunny shouted Taeyeon name that made those person got her eyes widen and remained frozen.

"Si-si... C-ca" Taeyeon said with difficulty. Sunny gasped she couldn't believe it that finally Taeyeon's voice was back.

"Si-sica it it's you... It's re-really you" Taeyeon cried, Jessica remained frozen her mind went haywire when she saw Taeyeon stood in front of her calling her name and A.L.I.V.E.

"Sica!!!" Taeyeon hugged her, Jessica still frozen. Tiffany's voice from her phone made her back to her sense.

"Jessi... Jessi are you still there? Why you don't answer me?? Gezzhh this woman must be fall asleep" Tiffany mumbled, the phone was slipped from Jessica's hand. Just then she hugged Taeyeon back.

"Taenggoo..."

"Si-- Aaarghh!!" Taeyeon's feet was gave up, she was about to fell but Jessica caught her just in time. She put Taeyeon back to her wheelchair.

"Ta-Taenggoo is this really you? Am i dreaming?"

"No Sica it's me, i'm real and i'm still alive Sica, i'm alive!!" Taeyeon said.

"Oh god Taenggoo i missed you i missed you"

"M-me too Sica"

Those two bestfriend were hugging and tears were flowing down to their cheeks endlessly. Sunny saw all the scenes that was happened in front of her and couldn’t help but cried along. Just then Taeyeon was too exhausted and fainted. Both Jessica and Sunny were panic, but Sunny suggested that they should bring Taeyeon to her house to have some rest.

Jessica and Sunny were in Sunny’s living room after they put Taeyeon safely in bed while waiting for her to get up later. After introduced theirselves, Sunny told Jessica everything about Taeyeon's accident.

"Why you didn't bring her back to her family when you found her? You should do that so that she could recover well and-" Sunny cut her

"Excuse me, Jessicashii I’m sorry but we didn’t have her ID that time and she was in Coma for a long long time you know?!! And when she finally awake I asked her but she didn’t want to and said that she wanted to come back to her family once when she is already in a good condition" Sunny said annoyingly.

"You just don't understand everything was a chaos, if you could bring Taeyeon's back to her family that time th-"

"Excuse me!! Are you even serious saying that words to me? I’ve helped her you know..?"

"I'm sorry... I just it just..." Jessica lower her head.

"It's okay" Sunny replied.

They heard someone was calling Jessica’s name. They knew it was Taeyeon, so both of them went to Taeyeon’s room quickly.

"Si-sica... W-where are you sica?"

"I'm here Taeyeon ah..."

"I thought it was a dream but it's really you"

"Taeyeon you can speak now!!" Sunny said behind Jessica.

"I am... Oh my god i'm so happy but still i couldn't walk" Taeyeon said sadly

"Taenggo you need to take a rest now" Jessica sat on the edge of the bed and pushed Taeyeon to lied down.

"A-are y-you going to le-leave me, Sica? Please don't leave me"

"I just want to call your father and-"

"NO!! PLEASE DON'T. At least not now, Sica. I'm not… ready" Taeyeon lower her head. She told Jessica everything.

"Taenggoo…" Jessica sighed heavily when she knew Taeyeon’s ridiculous reason.

"I will buy some food for us Jessicashi. You can stay here and talk with Taeyeon" Sunny said and left them. Jessica and Taeyeon were talking about Taeyeon's accident, how Sunny could save her and treat her well, until Taeyeon mentioned something about Tiffany.

"How about Ti-Tiffany, Sica? Is she okay now?" Jessica was taken aback when Taeyeon asked her about Tiffany, her wife.

“Sica…” Taeyeon touched Jessica’s hand demanding an explaination.

"S-she was heartbroken w-when we thought that you already died, Taeng. Slowly she move on and being a happy Tiffany again" Jessica said nervously.

"I see..." Taeyeon nodded

"I…I missed her Sica... A Lot" Taeyeon confessed, Jessica could feel a pang in her heart. She didn't know what to say or what to do, so she simply just patted Taeyeon's back.

"I missed her so bad and you won’t have no idea how much I miss her" Taeyeon cried and Jessica pulled her in to her arms and hugged her.

'Dear God... Help us' Jessica thought.

Jessica left Sunny's home when Taeyeon finally could sleep. Jessica promised her that she would come back tomorrow to visit her again. Jessica closed Taeyeon's door silently and heading to the living room where Sunny has been waiting for her.

"Jessicashii"

"Drop the formality, Sunny. It feel awkward for me" Jessica smiled a bit.

"I need to go home now, it's getting late. But i'll come back again tomorrow" Jessica said.

"Okay... Drive safely Jessicassi i mean Sica" They bid goodbye and Sunny came inside Taeyeon's room. She sat beside Taeyeon as she stared at her face lovingly while brushing Taeyeon's hair softly.

"Now you have met Sica before i can take you to her. You even could talk now, i guess you really need your fiance and best friend to get well soon, Taeyeon ah. I'm gonna miss you then..." Sunny smiled bitterly, alone tears were falling from her eyes. Sunny leaned and kissed Taeyeon's forehead softly for a little longer.

‘Get well soon and i love you’ Sunny whispered in her mind and left Taeyeon's room.

Jessica just arrived at her house, her family has their own house in US. Jessica slumped her body to the bed, she was staring at the ceiling and sighed heavily. Suddenly her phone was ringing, there was a message from Tiffany. She opened and read it.

From: Tiff Baby 💖

Good morning from Seoul, my baby Jessi. I missed you, can't wait to see you two days later 😘😘 Are you asleep now? It's midnight at US now right? Dream of me okay... Love you 💋💋

Jessica stared at the message for God knew how long and then her trembling hand caressed her phone's screen.

'Tiffany... Taeyeon is still alive what will happen to us? I can't imagine my life without you but... What about Taeyeon???' Jessica thought.

Yuri was preparing all of the files that she needed for her important meeting that would be held in a few minutes when Yoona came in to her office.

"Morning, Yuri" Yoona greeted her smiling brightly. Yuri looked up and greeted her back.

"Are you need something from me, Yoong?"

"Yes! I need your time for our lunch today at the coffee shop across this company. And no But! So see youuuu" Yoona said and left Yuri dumbfounded.

"Aishhh this girl!!" Yuri grumbled. After some few minutes, Yuri phone was ringing.

"Hello..."

"....."

"Hello Sicababy?"

"Yuri..." Jessica said weakly and Yuri knew that something was wrong with Jessica.

"Sicababy what's wrong? Are you still in US?"

"I-i am"

"Tell me what happen, is it about Tiffany? I thought your relationship with her is great"

"We are... But, Yu-yuri?"

"Yes?"

"I... I-i..."

"You know you can tell me everything, right Sica?" Yuri tried to reassure her, a heavy sigh could be heard from the other line.

"I'll talk to you later, bye Yul!! And please don't tell Tiffany about it... She will be worry"

"Okay, Take care Sica"

Jessica hang up her phone she was already in front of Taeyeon's house again. With her weak heart she came to those house again where her Bestfriend, Taeyeon lived. Taeyeon insisted that she wanted Jessica to take her with her and not to tell her family. But when Jessica and Sunny saw Taeyeon's condition, it was better if her parents knew about it.

"But Sica..." Taeyeon whined.

"Taeng i can keep it from Tiffany but not your parents, they deserve to know"

"Tiffany too, then!!" Taeyeon said loudly. Jessica became silent and Taeyeon felt guilty. Sunny saw the scenes and observed it. Everytime Taeyeon told or mentioned about Tiffany's name, Jessica would be tense or speechless maybe there were something wrong.

"Look, Sica i'm sorry what i mean is i really don't want my family to see me in my horrible state"

"But knowing you were dead is the most horrible thing that ever happen to your family Taenggoo, to us, to everyone that love you. At least you still alive now"

"Sica..."

Sunny joined their conversation and tried to help Jessica to persuade Taeyeon. In the end Taeyeon agreed just because she also missed her family. Jessica said that she would call Taeyon's family that night. Just then Jessica phone was ringing, from the ringtone Jessica knew it was Tiffany.

"Don't you want to answer your phone, Sica? It's already ringing for the hundred time i think" Taeyeon said.

"Yeah... Why you always reject it? It must be important" Sunny asked.

"I can call back later, Taeyeon is more important here"

"Aww you are so sweet, Sica" Taeyeon grinned while Jessica just smiled bitterly.

Meanwhile

"What the hell happen with this Jung? She reject my phone since last night. Is she cheating on me? Naahh Jessica wouldn't do that. She even didn't like to flirt to anyone back then and had Yuri as her fake girlfriend" Tiffany murmured.

"But i missed her" Tiffany whined to herself.

Yoona and Yuri were having their lunch together but Yuri kept spacing out and recalled her odd conversation with Jessica few hours ago. She didn’t hear it when Yoona called her name since forever because Yuri still deep in her thought.

SMACK!!

“Yah what was that for?”

“You keep ignoring me when I call your name, Kwon Yuri!!. Seriously I want you to have a good lunch with me not spacing out” Yoona said dissapointedly.

“I’m sorry, Yoong. But there’s something that bothering me” Yuri said and lower her head.

“And what is that?” Yoona asked

“I can’t tell you now, but I’ll tell you later” Yuri smiled a little. Yoona shrugged it off.

‘Kwon Yuri why you never enjoy your time when you with me?’ Yoona thought and pouted silently. Their lunch time was over, they back to the office and after the working hour is over, Yuri asked Yoona that she would drive her to her apartment because she felt guilty ignoring the younger girl at their lunch before. Yoona smiled and hooked her arms with Yuri while heading to Yuri’s car.

That night Jessica called Mr Kim, after few ring Mr Kim answered it. After talked about their works and asking about the dinner. Jessica encouraged herself to talked about Taeyeon, Mr Kim was shocked.

"Sica it's not funny! Please don't joke around about this to me" Mr Kim said sternly.

"I'm not, uncle... Please trust me and you can come here to see her" Jessica bit her lips.

"....."

"Uncle?"

"....."

"Uncle Kim?"

"Si... Sica"

For the hundred time Tiffany texted Jessica and called her but Jessica still ignored her. Jessica knew it wasn't Tiffany's fault. After thought about it for a while she decided to call her wife back, and Tiffany answered it from the first ring.

"JESSICA JUNG SOOYEON!! YOU ARE SO DEAD!! HOW DARE YOU IGNORED ME SINCE YESTERDAY HUH?" Tiffany loud voice was echoed in Jessica’s ear.

"I-i'm sorry Tiff- fany" Tiffany frowned when she heard Jessica's weak voice and she called her not with her nickname or any petname.

"Jessi... What's wrong baby? Are you sick?"

"N-no! J-just a little bit tired, i have some unfinish project so i have to do it."

"Aww my poor baby Jessi..."

"It's okay Tiff"

"If i was there i will hug you and kiss you to give you more power, babe" Jessica smiled a bit.

"I wish..." Tiffany heard what Jessica’s said and she knew that Jessica wasn’t in a good mood but she didn’t want to push her.

“I can’t wait to see you tomorrow, Jessi. I missed being in your arms” Tiffany smiled sweetly although Jessica couldn’t see it.

“Tiffany, I have to extend my day here for another week” Jessica said softly

“WHAT?! But.. That’s it! I will come over tomorrow then”

“No Tiff, you can’t! it only take another week, Tiff and I’ll be back to you, hmm?”

“Jessi…”

“Please?” After thought about it for a moment, Tiffany agreed. They talked for a little longer before Jessica hang up the phone.

“Thanks for driving me home, Yul”

“You welcome and I got to go now” Yuri said. Yoona smiled sweetly and hugged Yuri while whispering.

“I hope we can enjoy our time and you can drive me home like this on the other day” Yoona pulled away, Yuri just stood there smiled awkwardly. There in the hallway stood Krystal that watched everything in front of her. She turned her body and walked away silently. When Krystal got in her car, she was chuckled bitterly.

“It’s not Yuri unnie’s fault but Yoona unnie has choosed Yuri’s unnie heart” Krystal chuckled again, her eyes were glistening with tears. Krystal flinched when her car’s mirror been knocked, and it was Yuri. Krystal rolled down the mirrors

“Yuri Unnie?”

“I see you when you walk away, can we talk somewhere else?” Yuri asked, Krystal stared at her for a while before nodding her head.

Jessica was at the Airport when a middle aged man approached her, it was Mr Kim. Actually he couldn’t believe everything that Jessica told him, but he was curious and wanted to know about it. His heart was beating loudly as they were getting closer to Sunny house.

"Uncle..."

"Yes Sica?"

"I haven't tell her about Tiffany and i, uncle"

"Don’t tell her yet… let me see her condition, first" Mr Kim patted Jessica’s head softly. For him Jessica was like her own daughter too. 30 minutes later, Mr Kim found himself was gasped when she finally saw with her own eyes her daughter, Kim Taeyon was sitting in her wheelchair and talked with Sunny. Jessica came and stood beside him and touched his shoulder.

“It’s really Taeyeon, uncle. She is still alive and-“

“Taeyeon ah…” Mr Kim called her name, although he called her softly but Taeyeon knew it. She turned her body because the voice was familiar and just then their eyes were meet. Taeyeon missed those warm eyes of her father, soon tears were flowing over their eyes. Mr Kim blinked his eyes several times before walked toward her daughter slowly and when he was sure enough her daughter indeed still alive, he run… he run to her and kneeling in front of her. They staring to each other before Mr Kim pulled Taeyeon in to his embrace.

“Taeyeon ah… my beautiful daughter Kim Taeyeon” Mr Kim cried.

“Father… Fa-father I missed you father’’ Taeyeon sobbed.

Jessica and Sunny watched them with a bittersweet feeling, because after this they would lost their dearly one. But maybe it was how it has to be.

After the reunion, Sunny told everyone to have a dinner with them. Mr Kim couldn’t help but felt thankful for Sunny’s kindness to take care of Taeyeon and saved her. Sunny said it was nothing and everyone whom in her situation maybe did the same. Through the dinner, Jessica kept quiet. Her mind was filled with Tiffany’s image but this time not with her but Taeyeon. Her thought was interrupted when Sunny asked her something.

"Omo a ring?? Hey Sica are you with someone now?"

"Well it looks like a wedding ring tho" Sunny chimmed

"Really? Aisshh Sica are you married already?" Taeyeon said curiously.

"To whom?" Taeyeon added.

"I-i... I" Mr Kim could see that Jessica totally nervous now, just when Mr Kim wanted to help her, Jessica’s phone was ringing. Jessica answered the phone without seeing the ID.

“Hello??”

“Jessi baby!!” Jessica gasped when she knew it was Tiffany.

“Jessi??”

“Ye- Yes??”

“I’m sorry but I missed you so much and I couldn’t wait. I just arrive at US now baby, where are you?” Tiffany asked cheerfully.

“You.. YOU WHAT??!!” Jessica shouted, Taeyeon, Sunny and Mr Kim were startled from Jessica’s sudden outburst.

“Sica what happen? Who is it?” Taeyeon asked curiously. Jessica’s eyes got widen, she was scared.

“Sica?”

“Jessi?” Jessica could here Tiffany’s voice calling her name on the other line.

‘What must I do now? God…’ Jessica thought.
