At Incheon Airport...

“Plane HT-1457 already arrived on Incheon Airport, Seoul. Welcome to the South Korea”

South Korea, here I come!!!

Flashback

“Today is our last performance for this tournament, so lets give our best! Jia You!!” said our leader. For 5 minutes, i gave my best and danced like we usually do. At the last moment, we gave the last pose and hold it for few seconds. Big applause can be heard from the audience and we gave a final bow before went back to the backstage.

The backstage was like our party, we were sure that we are going to win this competition. Hi-five in each other, hugging each other, screaming to each other, all kind of celebration were happening on the way to our waitting room .

“Song Qian , there is someone who wants to meet you” said my teacher

Confused, i followed my teacher and found a business woman with professional suit.

“Can I help you ma’am?”

“ Hey Song Qian, you must be confused. Let me introduced myself. Here is my business card” She gave me a pink card with SM logo on it. “My name is Lee Bora, i am a scout for entertainment label on South Korea. I saw you on your performance just now, and i think you are very suitable to be an artist in South Korea. What do you think?”

With disbelief, i just nodded to her and said that i would be thinking it more carefully. On the way home, i thought about what she just said. Till this time, i thought i will be a professional traditional dancer in China, not a little thought that i want to be an artist especially in South Korea. It was like very far from China. However, i dont know  but my instinct told me to accept the challenge to go to South Korea.

Arrived to my house, i tried to call the business woman from before. She said that we could meet the next day to talk about the contract and training in South Korea.

End of Flashback

One month later, here i am in South Korea.

This is my journey with love and struggle along the way.
