15. New Member!

A month went by and nothing changed between Mark and Jinyoung, they still live their lovely dovely life. Mark still haven’t told Jinyoung about Sana, he didn’t know how and when is the perfect moment to tell. The elder and Sana works together every day and Mark treat Sana just as a co-worker, he tried to avoid Sana as much as he can, but they are working in a small café and Sana always has hers excuse to make Mark help or teach her. Not to mention how clingy Sana is, she is very touchy and always pleading the manager to give her the same shift as Mark.

It’s weekend and Mark took a leave from work so he can spend some time with Jinyoung, they were at the couch, Mark sitting watching TV while Jinyoung has his head on the elder’s lap reading his book.

“Jinyoung-ah, can we buy a puppy?” Mark asked suddenly and surprised the younger

“Why all of a sudden?” Jinyoung put down his book and looked up on the elder

“Mhm…I always wanted to raise a dog…can we?” Mark asked in a pleading tone

“Mhm…isn’t it expansive to raise a dog?” Jinyoung wriggled his eyebrow and asked

“Yeah…but…” Mark’s words got cut off

“If you want it then let’s buy one, but I have never been good with dogs, they always hate me, even I don’t know why…” Jinyoung said and smiled

“Really? Can we really buy a dog?” Mark asked exited

“Yes, we can buy a dog, but if it hates me I’m not going to help you take care of it…” Jinyoung said

“I promise I will be the one who takes care of it, thank you Jinyoung and I’m sure that the dog going to love you, there is impossible to have someone hate you…”

“Hahaha… enough of your sweet talk, I get it…” Jinyoung laughed and said

“Come on let’s go…” Mark excided said and pushed Jinyoung up from his lap

“Now?” Jinyoung asked when he got dragged up towards the main door

“Yeah, the shop it’s still open….” Mark said and Jinyoung chuckled over how cute his boyfriend is when he gets excited and act like a child

“Ok, Ok, let’s go…” Jinyoung said and put on his jacket

They went to an animal shop where they had a lot of different type of puppies and other animals. They looked around and Mark got really excited and they looked like a dad who took his child to the shop for buying a puppy.

“So which one do you want to buy hyung?” Jinyoung asked with his hand intertwined with the elder, made the other customers and employee start to whisper and stare at them

“Mhm…what about this one Jinyoungie?” Mark asked, pointing at a small white Maltese puppy without notice the whispering talk and stare from the other, but Jinyoung noticed 

“Mhm…sure let’s buy this one then…” Jinyoung said and slowly let go of Mark’s hand, made the elder look at the younger confused. That was then Mark noticed the stare and whispering talk from others in the shop

Mark held the younger’s hand back and kissed Jinyoung at the cheek, made Jinyoung surprised

“Hyung…people are watching…” Jinyoung said shyly and looked down

“I don’t care, let’s go pay…” Mark said and dragged Jinyoung to one of the employees. Jinyoung felt warm and protected, he followed the elder and a wide smile showed on his face

They paid for the puppy and a lot of things for the new family member. When they reach home, Mark started to play with their little puppy while Jinyoung went to make some dinner.

“What should we call her Jinyoung?” Mark asked while leaning on the floor playing with the puppy

“Mhm, I don’t know hyung, it’s your puppy so you can decide…” Jinyoung said without turn around to look at the elder

“It’s our puppy, she is our new family member…” Mark back hugged the younger and said

“Fine our puppy, but I really don’t know what we should call her…” Jinyoung said while cooking Mark’s favourite soup

“Mhm…I don’t know either…” Mark pouted and said while he leaned his head on Jinyoung’s shoulder

“Mhm…she’s a girl so it should be a girl name, like Sara, Nora, Nana…or…. Coco?” Jinyoung suggested

“Coco? That’s a cute name, I knew that my Jinyoungie always has the best suggestions…” Mark said and hugged Jinyoung more tightly

“Haha…when did you start to have so much sweet talks? You weren’t like that before….”

“But you like it right?” Mark teased the younger

“Yes, I do like it…” Jinyoung said and turned around to gave a peck on the elder’s lips

Jinyoung just brought some new books after his class and decided to stop by café where Mark’s works, just to say hi and maybe sit there to read, he didn’t felt for being alone at home.

Jinyoung opened the main door to the café, he looked around, but mark wasn’t everywhere to find. Jinyoung ordered a cup of Americano and went to sit at a corner. After a while a boy came toward Jinyoung with his Americano, it’s was the same boy he met at Christmas Eve.

“Your Americano…” the boy said and put the Americano at the table

“Thank you…” Jinyoung said and smiled

“You are the one from Christmas Eve right?” the boy asked

“Yeah, and I’m so sorry for making so much trouble and sorry for I pushed you so you fell…” Jinyoung apologised

“It’s okay, hope everything went well with you and your girlfriend…” The boy said and smiled

“She wasn’t my girlfriend actually, I didn’t know her, I’m friend of Mark actually…” Jinyoung explained and the boy nodded his head for understanding

“Ah…”

“What’s your name?” Jinyoung asked

“Me? My name is Minwook…” The boy said and smiled

“Nice to meet you Minwook, I’m Jinyoung…” Jinyoung said and pulled out his hand for a handshake and Minwook gladly accepted it

“So you are looking for Mark today?” Minwook asked and Jinyoung nodded his head

“Is he on break?” Jinyoung asked and Minwook nodded his head

“Yeah, he is on break in the locker room…” Minwook explained with a smile  

“Ah, really….” Jinyoung said and looked down, he felt a bit disappointed of himself of not knowing when the elder had his break time

“Do you want me to call Mark-hyung out for you?” Minwook asked when he saw a disappointment showed on Jinyoung’s face

“Mhm, it’s okay no need, I’m actually here to give Mark-hyung a surprise… do you think it’s possible for me to go in to the locker room and look for Mark-hyung?” Jinyoung asked with a pleading face

“Mhm…sure, since you are Mark-hyung’s friends, I don’t think it would be any problem, just come with me, I will show you where the locker room is…” Minwook said and smiled

“Really? Thank you so much…” Jinyoung smiled widely and said

“No problem…”

Minwook showed the way for Jinyoung and then excused himself and went back to work.

“I’m curious how Mark-hyung will react when he sees me…” Jinyoung thought and took a deep breath before he slowly opened the door not to make any noise. But the one who got surprised wasn’t Mark, but Jinyoung.

Jinyoung got teary eyes, he hurried and closed the door behind him before the elder could notice him. Jinyoung could not believe what he just saw, he can’t believe…
