11. New Life!

TWO WEEKS LATER!

Mark and Jinyoung had moved out for two weeks now, they stayed at Youngjae’s house. Both of them still go to the campus for their studies and they also looking for a perfect place they can move into. They don’t want to bother Youngjae for too long, even Youngjae and his parents said it was fine.

Its Saturday and they been looking for different apartment all day with an agent. They went inside the apartment in myeongdong and it was really beautiful. It’s only had one room and it had really good view from the living room.

“Omg, it’s so beautiful here….” Jinyoung shouted and run around the apartment like a little kid, made both Mark and the agent chuckled

“It really is a very beautiful apartment and its close to both train and bus station, myeongdong is a shopping street too. The location really is one of the best locations you can chose to live……” the agent said and smiled, Jinyoung run to Mark and held the elder’s arm

“Do you like it here?” Mark asked Jinyoung and the younger smiled widely, nodding his head.

“How much is the rent here?” Mark asked the agent “Its 1000000 KRW (about 850 USD) for one month……” the agent said and smiled

“Mhm……Thank you, but we need to think about it” Mark said and Jinyoung looked at the elder confused

“You don’t like it here?” Jinyoung asked

“It’s not that I don’t like it here, but I just want to think about it first” Mark said

“But we already looked for an apartment a whole day, and I really like it here….” Jinyoung said and pouted

“Jinyoung-ah, give me some time okay?”

“Fine…...”

They bid goodbye with the agent and were on the way home to Youngjae, they have their hand intertwined, but Mark can feel that the younger isn’t so happy and Jinyoung had been pouting the whole time.

“Jinyoung-ah, are you mad at me?” Mark stopped and asked

“No……” Jinyoung said without looking at the elder

“Jinyoungie, we both student and we don’t have a lot of money, we already used a lot of your savings, I can drop out of college and find some job, but you are a top student, I can’t let you drop out just because of me, we need to pay for your college fees so you can continue you studies. 1000000 KRW is too expensive for us for a month. Please understand…” Mark explained and Jinyoung finally looked at the elder

“Sorry I shouldn’t act like a child, I should have thought about the amount of money too, I just really liked that apartment. We both can find jobs, I don’t want you to be the only one to earns money for us, and I don’t want you to drop out of college either. Like you say I’m a top student, I can talk to the principal…. maybe I can get a scholarship, then we only need to pay for your college fees…” Jinyoung said and smiled

“Thank you Jinyoung-ah…” Mark said and kissed the younger at the forehead

"Where are we going hyung?” Jinyoung asked with his eye blinded. Mark said he had a surprise for the younger so he blindfolded Jinyoung.

“Be patient, we are there soon, I will just open the door then we’re there.” Mark said and Jinyoung can hear a door opened. They went in and the older untied the blindfold.

“Surprise!” Mark said and waited for the younger’s reaction

Jinyoung slowly opened his eyes and he can’t believe where he was, they are at the apartment Jinyoung really liked, but was too expensive for them to rent

“Is it what I think is it? Did you rent the apartment?” Jinyoung hold Mark’s both hands and asked

“Yes I did”

“But why, didn’t you said that it is too expensive for us to rent?”

“Yes, it is a bit expensive, but since you really liked it so I went and begged the owner to lower the price, I explained our situation and he lowered the price to 880000 KRW (about 750 USD) plus I just got a job in a coffee shop so that’s why is rented it” Mark explained to the younger and Jinyoung eyes got watered, he was really touched, he had never imagined someone to do so much for him

“Thank you so much and I love you so much” Jinyoung said and hugged the older tightly and Mark hugged Jinyoung back.

Their friend helped them to move so the couple quickly moved in to the apartment. Jinyoung had already talked with the principle of the college and he agreed to give a scholarship to Jinyoung. Mark quit college even Jinyoung was against to it, but Mark wanted them to live better so he decided to work as a full time at the coffee shop instead of a part time.

Mark and Jinyoung planned to have a housewarming party with their friends, Jinyoung made some homemade pizza and they brought some beer and snacks. Their friends brought a lot of present for them and their new home. They choose to watch a comedy movie and ate pizza and drank beer. After the movie was over they wanted to play truth or dare so they ended up sitting in a circle with an empty bottle of beer in the middle.

Yugyeom spine the bottle and it landed on Jinyoung “Truth or dare?” Yugyeom asked and Jinyoung choose ‘truth’

“Mhm…...have you and Mark-hyung had your first ?” Yugyeom asked and both Mark and Jinyoung face become all red. Jinyoung shook his head shyly and everyone was surprised of them haven’t done it yet

“OMG, Jinyoung you and Mark-hyung had been as a couple for so long now and you guys still haven’t had , me and Jaebum-hyung had our first after have become a couple in two weeks” Jackson said and laughed hard, the same did the others, everyone started to laugh expect Mark and Jinyoung

“Shut up WANG JACKSON!” Jinyoung shouted and it just made the others to laugh more

“Ok, Ok, I’m sorry….” Jackson said and everyone tried to hold their laugh. Jinyoung spine the bottle and it landed on Mark “Truth or dare?”

“Mhm…. truth…” Mark said and Jinyoung tried really hard to find something to ask, but before he could figure out what to ask his boyfriend, BamBam already shouted out a question

“Were you gay before you met Jinyoung-hyung and is Jinyoung-hyung your first love?” BamBam shouted and Mark stared at Jinyoung with a ‘do you want me to answer this question look’. Jinyoung just nodded his head, he was also curious about it.

“Mhm…… Jinyoung is my first male boyfriend, but…. not first love….and I wasn’t gay before…” Mark said and looked down, Jinyoung felt a sudden pang in his heart, it hurts. everyone was silence and felt a bit awkward

“Who was your first love?” Jinyoung broke the silence, he didn’t care about how awkward the atmosphere going to be, he wanted to know

“We went to the same high school and we dated the whole high school period…”

“3 years?” Jinyoung asked and Mark just nodded without even look at the younger
