Shoe Strings

Description

Life’s such a tease. Sungjong learned that mastering multitasking can save your head from further worries (migraine for worst case scenarios). He knows he can handle things (an obstacle is the right word) that are laid in front of him, though he can’t even earn a good night’s sleep despite of his hard work (with emphasis on the last word). But when one event made him change his usual routine and plans, he wonders if he could get used to it, or if he'll discover anything himself with the presence of a stranger under his care.

Foreword

*Hello fellow inspirits and myungjong shippers! I know I've been quite missing without posting anything for a long time, things happened but here I am, back and still able write.

*I know I wasn't able to do an update for my other stories but the chapters and one shots are on their way, so please bear with me, and thank you for those who are patiently waiting and are enjoying my stories though mostly unfinished yet.

*As a gift for being absent for long, here's a new chaptered fic featuring the adorable myungjong, and other kpop groups that I adore as well. Enjoy!

Then he reads her checklist again:

  1. Help my best friend get his most adored being on earth.
  2. Make sure to hide well and not let the troublemakers catch me.
  3. Attend Woohyun (the kindest and man alive, fine, as far as I know it’s like his an idol for me) hyung’s musical this Saturday. =)

Ah, I forgot one thing… *scribbles quickly*

  1. Babysit a kid that grew in the lab where my uncle works, hoping he won’t make me his meal despite of his alien genes. *cross fingers, both hands*

As he was about to return the slightly crumpled piece of paper on some pages between one of his favorite books, Kane Chronicles: Serpent’s Shadow (I’m suggesting this series by Rick Hiordan, if you’re into myths and unusual adventures, you won’t regret reading this, and the writing style is a bonus) *fan girl mode*, he heard a loud crash resonating from the living room.

“Myungsoo, how many times have I told you, not to kick the television?! That’s the second one you broke this week! You better stop right now or I’ll be the one ending up broke! You don’t know what my wallet has gone through because of your damn reflexes!”

Could this day get anymore worse?
