Tomorrow....
It's Irene's birthday tomorrow.
"A dress!" Joy said. "You and I need a dress. Pronto."
"Yeah yeah." I said, rolling my eyes. "So you got a date?"
"With Sungjae!" She said, smiling widely. "I have a good feeling about this, Seulgi!"
"Yeah." I smiled faintly.

"So... The blue one? Or the pink one?"
"Pink looks good on you, but... I don't think this really fits you." I said.
"But what does?" Joy asks me. 
I got a mint green dress, and gave it to her. "Try this one on."
While fitting, I ask. "Joy?"
"Yes, cupcake?"
".... Am I in denial."
She came out of the cubicle, looking gorgeous in the dress and laughing her off.
"What's funny?"
"Did you finally figure it out?"
"Well... No?"
"Seulgi, admit the facts, cupcake. You've liked Irene since forever."
"How did you-"
"We have the same classes in high school, and I always see you occasionally staring at her. On college, whenever we pass by the modeling department, you immediately say that Irene's probably there, doing a photoshoot. And now, you CANNOT STOP TALKING ABOUT HER. Every time I mention her, you smile and blush and when she talks to you, you smile widely and look at her with such loving eyes. It's obvious."
I looked at her, with my mouth open.
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah."
I looked in the mirror.
"So... I love her?"
"YES."
"I love, Irene Jung."
"Yeah..."
"I really do love her."
And she lost it, Joy screamed and threw a dress at me.
"TRY THIS ON, YOU GOTTA LOOK GOOD FOR THE PARTY. YES OH MY GOD, FINALLY!"
I looked at her, puzzled. She rolled her eyes.
"You gotta move, Seulgi. Irene's hot commodity, any guy or girl can snatch her away immediately."
"What makes you think that... She'll accept me?"
She smiled. "You never know."

"Wow..."
I stood in my room, in a light pink dress, with a jeweled torso and a slight puffy skirt. It looked good on me.
"Now all you need are matching shoes." A familiar voice behind me says. I turned and saw my mom, Tiffany, smiling at me, holding a pair of glittering, rose gold shoes.
"Mom!"
"So, you came into the shop! I'm kinda surprised. Didn't you say that you don't wanna go?"
"I... I changed my mind mom."
"Auntie, she finally made up her mind." Joy says, giggling.
Mother smiled. "Just go for it, She's a nice girl."
I nodded and looked at the mirror.
"That dress really looks good on you, darling." Mom says. Arranging my hair to the side and putting a matching jeweled headband on my hair. "She'll love it."
I look different. The makeup did wonders to my eyes and lips, my lips were more glossy and red, my eyes were highlighted in a way that the seem mysterious, my skin was beautiful and clear. The dress fitted me in the best way possible, and...
"Damn, you look hot." Joy exclaims.
"I couldn't say it better myself." I said.
"Ready?" Joy asks.
I nodded. "More than anything."

"You came!"
"Of course." I joked. "My mom would literally tear the dorm down if I don't."
She giggled as she hugged me. I blushed at the sudden contact. 
"I'm glad you came."
"So am I."
"Where's my gift?" She jokingly asked.
"You'll get it... Soon." I said, winking.
She smiled. "Can't wait, I got something for you too."
"M-me? But you're the one who's celebrating-"
"I know, but, I just wanted to give you something, you know."
"Y-yeah, sure."
"Great! I'll meet you in the garden in two hour
