[Hyuk] Two Moments
Daffodils In The WindTime cannot be changed for anyone. Not even the ones favoured by his blessings. So Sanghyuk steals whatever he can from the moments past
The water dripped from the empty sink. The drops splattered , the sound travelling further into the empty room. The clock ticked, every second passing in a slow dreadful moment. The heater failed for what was the fifth time that week and the cold had started to fog the glasses. A small electric kettle shut off automatically, never having been switched off.
"It happens in five minutes" Sanghyuk said quietly. He stood by the window. Present but not quite here in time the way he should be. the way humans are. The way you and I might be, walking down the subway to work or grabbing a quick coffee before the start of a long day. No he wasn't quite present in the moment.
"In about three minutes and forty seconds, Haru is going to cross the road and enter the subway. In less than three minutes she will be dead because of a trigger happy psychopath loose on the streets" he said out loud, knowing no one would hear him. Sanghyuk stood by the window, his gaze on the entrance of the subway where a woman in her early twenties and her favourite black pea coat had started to descend the stairs.
"How many times have you travelled back to this exact moment in time?" Taekwoon asked silently. "One too many" Sanghyuk told him before turning to look at the Timekeeper. "What are you doing here? I thought Time waits for no one" Sanghyuk said. His voice was strained hy the presence of the other being. They were familiar in way but Sanghyuk knew Taekwoon didn't understand.
THey had a fragile history, time keepers and time travellers. Every mow and then, Time blessed a child with the ability to peruse through his own time line and those of other's. A gift or a curse in disguise of boon as you wished. For every child blessed, Time also took a child for it's own. A cruel balancing act of sorts. A time
